TAURUS FAN? OR MARK VII FAN?

Well I have a FMS 3 row with a Paxton crank pulley and a Proform e-fan. I literally have an 1/8" of an inch clearance. So obviously I need to switch it up. I was thinking of taking the rubber seal of the shroud to free up some more room but don't wanna wreck it if it's not going to work.

FWIW i run a "ramcharger" fan, its actually an intrepid fan.

i got on ebay and search up dodge intrepid electric fans, IIRC the years 98-04 are the years to get. i got a brand new aftermarket fan for 100 bucks, its a dual fan, and with a little trimming it it fits over the radiator nicely.

it cools nicely, doesnt even have to use the fan at 100% to cool the car. i use a DCC fan controller and the fan doesnt even have to work very hard to cool the car.

so far the fan has worked great.

DEFINATLY upgrade the alternator, upgraded alternators on my car when i did the e-fan swap. i ended up using a new alternator from the parts store for a 94-95 mustang GT, the case is slightly larger and the stock alt bracket needs a little grinding to get the alt to fit right, plus the upper ear isnt threaded like on a fox alt. all you need to do there is simply get a bolt and nut.
