$5400.00 but the wife only gave up 2000. So I got an TFS Track Heat intake , 3\8" spacer, elbow, EGR adaptor thing, shorty headers, throttle body, Mass air sensor, Fluidyne radiator, fuel pump, various gaskets and supplies to finish up the H\C\I recipe. Good thing I already had the heads, cam, roller rockers, injectors, and valve covers.

Haven't done the taxes yet.

Need to pay for the 37"LCD TV I just got.

As for the Mustang I'd like to finally get a cam and some roller rockers.
But, before that I have to do a catbaback. The stock mufflers have holes in them.
Also, want a new windshield.

Got my tax return yesterday, spent it yesterday to pay off the DD. Ah, it's nice not to have a car payment anymore. Now I just need to pay off the bike and I'm all set.

I might use a little toward my car ( <$200), but yes it gets old dumping money into my car all the time. I am thinking of using the money for a trip to the beach for me and my girlfriend this summer, and we'll drive the cobra there so it's all good. I'm getting around $1500 I believe.

Just got the last bit of my stuff...and left my Citi w2 at work .

last year we got back like 2,500-2,800...might be alittle more this year...hope to see 3-3,500.

We dont escrow our taxes or ins. and we had the money to pay that ourselvs in a savings account and we use the refund to replace that money. I just pay the ins. as it comes due out of pocket. This home is just a starter and taxes are only about 1k.

We are either taking the money we put into a CD (1k) from our wedding and matching it with some of the return into either a rothIRA or a mutual fund (we are putting the profits from selling this house into a mutual fund so we prob. will go with a roth).

The rest gets split into the accounts we have for the next house downpay (as we are using the profits from this one as a nest egg for retirement) and an emerg. repair (home) fund.

How do I figure out what I'm getting? I live with my Mom in Ma. and I did the claim thing where the govt holds my money, so that I dont owe them at the end of the year...

Can someone give me an estimate?

Down paying the house.

We're getting just over 2K back and will be putting it on the house. Can you guys in the states still write off the interest part of your mortgage? We can't do it up here in Canada, so it's better to pay off the house asap.

Yes and I got little over 2gs and it's going towards my Super T-5 and clutch.

we can't write it off, but we can deduct it from the income we have to pay taxes on. i suppose that is what you mean tho ...

i'd still rather not have to pay the mortgage

sent mine off after sitting on it for 4weeks done and ready to go .

In every other year by this time I already have the taxes back from the gov. Dont know why I am slacking this year.

Due to some BS state with holdings I owe 300 to the state (already changed that for next year), getting 1800 from the fed though. Its at least 1k less than last year though. Its just going into the bank so oh well.

Yep thats what I meant, we can't do that in Canada. Hence one of the reasons to get the darn house paid off (primary residence that is) However on our rental home its the opposite I can deduct the interest on the mortgage against the income earned on the property.
