TB adjustment

Mine had no head either so I removed the whole thing with some vice grips, tapped the TB for a cool new allen head screw.

A feeler gage is good to have, but you don't really need it for adjusting the TB. There is enough play in the mechanism where you can turn the screw untill it just touches without even nudging the blade.

I find that the feeler method doesnt work, as the throttle blade sticks when the thing is adjusted per the feeler method (some slight air gap and then tightening the screw some more).

John has the right idea with dealing with that stupid shank.

Look for a feeler gauge for doing valve adjustments.
