i have a guy im in contact with with 3X tc 2.3 engines out of the tbirds. he wants 200$ each and they are all around 100k miles. would this be a good investment to get one to drop in my shell of a car at the moment and get a second and start rebuilding it? or just get one and hope it lives?

100K miles isn't bad for a 2.3 I'd be more concerned with how long they were sitting and how they were stored. The money isn't bad if the motors are complete and aren't damaged.

he just pulled them from other cars that were going to the junkyard and he said they ran and the tc worked when he pulled them.
