Im going to throw a tci trans scat shift kit in my 89 5.0 I want to know if there any good and how long does it usually take to install it on the stock aod
Never installed a TCI, but the I've used both Baumann and TransGo kits. Takes about 3-4 hours and expect to get messy . You need to drop the pan, drain, the fluid, remove the screen and valve body so you can work on the valve body on the bench.
I would recommend also installing a drain plug in the pan while you have it off.
