Turns out that TCP front coilovers have a potential failure built in. They can push the carriage bolts through the shock towers. We're working on a fix for the problem for our customers. We are having some rings machined to bolt to the underside of the top shock mount. Although aware, the new owners over at Chassis Works are claiming no responsibility due to the fact they didn't produce them. We'll make the support rings available to the public upon completion!

Tension Mount

I know folks who have popped out the coil spring seat on the inside of the shock tower and mounted the top of the coil over inside the tower. The TCP upper mount is in tension (not good) I believe soley so that the conversion is a complete bolt in (no mods).
