TCP motor mounts and headers?

Which headers can I use in my 66 with a 302 and TCP motor mounts? I've seen the jba's and what they say about fitting. I just want to be sure before I throw down that much money.

I have the TCP solid mounts in my 66 coupe and I run Ceramic coated Hooker Super Comps - 1 5/8 primarys and 3" collectors.

They are as tight as tight can be but they fit fine.

this is the set up that i was considering but now i am curious, do you think they would fit with the 1-3/4 primaries?

Did you have to mess with the upper control arm studs? JBA says they may have to be shortened for theirs to work.

In my opinion I think that 1 3/4" primarys would be a stretch as I have less than 1/8" clearance on both sides.

As far as the UCA studs, in my case that was a solid yes but I had installed TCP UCA's and performed the shelby drop prior to installing my motor so I anticipated this problem and cut the UCA studs pretty well flush with the nut.

And that would mean I have to get the thing aligned first. I wonder if I could loosen the UCA so the studs are flush, then re-tighten after the headers are in??
hmmmmm....
Is there nothing easy on this car?

What do you think about Hi-Po manifolds? They should fit pretty well. This is a stock 302 so I don't NEED anything too fancy.
