So does anyone have the Teem Breed Valve covers? If so do you need to have them painted or is the cast aluminum alright to use for durability? From looking at there photos it's hard to tell if there painted on the installed customer photos or if there just the plain casted versions...Any answers or photos would be great!!

I have them on my 01GT and I painted mine with aluminum engine enamel to give them a brighter finish. They were alright when I got them, just a little on the dull side. I put about 3 coats on as well as a couple coats of clear engine enamel.

That looks really good BLKsteeda
did they take that long to get to you once you placed an order? I went through sneekypete, I was wondering if he could hook me up with a discount? I order the regular cast versions and hopefully will be emailing Breed with a Saleen logo to be engraved. Anyone have any experence with have some custom engraving done on theres? I have the logo in Vector format (Illustrator) so hopefully that will work? I have no idea what type of file a CNC machine will need?

They didn't take long at all to get to me. If I remember right it took less than a week.

Also, Steeda had a little bit of trouble on the install of the covers...they had to do a little bit of grinding on the inside of the passenger side cover to fit it correctly.

Hmmmm? thats strange that they had to do some grinding on it? Hope I won't have to do that...Oh well if I do I will! I think these covers look better than BBK's and I wont have BBK on my valve covers!

The grinding was very minimal...but they mentioned that they were kind of a pain in the ass to install.

BrightBlue, You are the one whos website I found to search for the valve covers! Did you have any trouble with yours? I'm putting new cams in and figured I might as well put some better looking valve covers on while I'm at it.

No problems at all. A great addition to the motor.

I have them as well and I left mine uppainted. I can see how they would be a pain to install if you had the intake and harness on. I replaced mine when I did my KB install so the weren't too bad for me. I can email you pics if you'd like. I can't post pics on here.

Thanks My email address is joeyswgraphics@yahoo.com
I'm now trying to get through the company that I orderd the covers from Sneeky Pete Racing...I haven't got an email back or heard from them after multiple emails sent?? I tried to call Breed but the guy that deals with the orders is out today...had to help his dad do something they said??? If any one knows the phone number to Sneeky Petes it would be appreciated!

Mine installed very easily, but I had the intake off for the kb install.

I opted for the polished set. I'm very happy with the finnish

I have to down size a pic, then I'll post it.
