Teksid blocks in Mark VIII's...what years?

Are all the Lincoln Mark VIII's aluminum 4V blocks the Teksid block? If not, what years were the Teksid blocks used in the Mark VIII? KarKraft has the one that they say they've had for 8 years and they want $2500.00 for it, while others say that the same Teksid block was used in the Mark VIII and can be easily found for a few hundred dollars...

93-98 MarkVIII and 96-98 Cobra are same Teksid Aluminum block.

All 93 - 98 Mark VIII's had Teksid blocks.

All 96 - 98 Cobra's had Teksid blocks.

Some 99 Cobra's had Teksid blocks.

The early( 93 - 95 ) Teksid blocks appartantly have different side bolts than the 96+ ones.

It's true, you can find Mark 8 engines for a few hundred.

whats difference from a teksid block to a regular GT one?? never even heard of these things until this thread....

Teksid block is an aluminum block cast in Italy.

GT block is iron.

The Teksid block is lighter( weight wise ) and just as strong.

Actually it is built, just waiting to install it with a few other components. This Teksid block has been bored and sleeved to 3.7" AKA Big-Bore.
