Help me troubleshoot the temp gauge, it stopped working recently. I checked all the connections behind the gauge bezel and everything was intact...maybe I need to replace the sensor on the intake manifold? Could that be it

is the gauge maxing out (all the way to hot) when you know it's not hot? is it not working at all?

if it's maxed out i believe it's your sending unit, maybe even the gauge it's self.

Remove the wire from the temp sensor and ground it to the motor with a good connection. Turn the key to the "on" position--did the gauge max out now? If so you have a bad temp sensor.
