i stick a pry bar in that hole to lift up the tensioner..yours might be different than my 82 tho. lefty threads on that bolt is really good to know, thanks jrichker
If you're removing the entire belt tensioner assembly, there is nothing special you need to do. Just remove the serpentine belt, and simply remove the bolt holding the assembly to the alternator bracket.
