I had an auto 98GT with a MAC H, and Flowmaster 40s, a K&N, 4.10 gears and 10.5" wide tires and i still thought the car was slow

Yeah I know ...my car is still slow, but with the 4.10s it doesn't "feel" slow - which is kinda what he's talking about. All about the SOTP feeling.

yea i have an 02 with all the mods listed below, still slow as hell...drives me nuts. need more mods

because it really was slow...you were probably pushing ~205 rwhp i'd imagine..in a 3400lb car, thats not gonna really work so well, even with 4.10's

hey ya'all, I test drove an 01 cobra yesterday,and it didnt SEEM to have a whole lot more "get up"than my 97 GT (mods in sig)

I think I mustve just not given the cobra all it had... causeI would assume it'd smoke my GT...

anyone have any idea ( a guess) as to how much power I may hve added to my GT, by the -chambers & off road H????? losing all those cats MUST increase flow!!!!

but I dont see how it could make enough power to make my car come even close to the 01 cobra.

that 01 cobra would rape,kill murder your GT.. you have almost no power mods. this is a mid 14 sec gt against a mid 13 sec cobra.

01 cobras (stock) are slow but definitly faster than a 97 gt by at least 80hp

you sound like the type that thinks anything slower than you is slow.

i think the cut off for a fast car is a 14.5 i always have no matter what i drive.

my car runs faster than a 14.5 but that dont mean a guy in a auto GT that runs 14.4 is slow.

i don't see how a stock 13.5 car is slow. if thats true then

almost all 60 era muscle cars are slow.
all modern mustangs are slow execpt the 03-04 cobra.
GN's are slow
4th gen f-bodys are slow.
most vettes are slow

you get my point now. saying a stock 13.5 car is slow is just plain silly.
