My car has an occasional miss but is intermittent. While i was playing around with the tfi module i noticed when ever i grabbed the harness where it plugs into the distributor and wiggle it i can hear my fuel pump cycle on and off and i watch my fuel pressure gauge go up about 10 psi with the key on engine off.does anybody have a clue what the tfi module has to do with the fuel pump?also sometimes when the car is idling it will all the sudden lower about 2oo rpm and instantly smell extremely rich.I have replaced all sensors with the exception of the iac and no change.also triple checked for vacum leaks none found.
