I'm using a Ford Fuel Injection mass air harness to install fox body EFI into my '65 Mustang.

I need to know (I can't figure it out) where to connect the TFI>START wire. The manual states (page 7, step 25B) "Connect the 18Ga Purple 1/8” terminal to a start signal on the starter solenoid"
Does this mean I can use the "S" post on the starter solenoid? This provides a momentary voltage while cranking and shortly after. OR does the TFI wire supposed to be "hot" the entire time the car is running?

Here is the manual for the wiring harness:

Thanks for any help

The answer is that the wire in question goes to the starter
solenoid small screw post that turns the starter solenoid on
when you put the ignition switch to the Start position.
