I got a 93 GT, I noticed summitracing has trickflow 170 heads on sale for $949 a pair! ( Trick Flow Specialties TFS-51400002 - Trick Flow® Twisted Wedge® 170 Cylinder Heads for Small Block Ford - Overview - SummitRacing.com ) I already picked some up last week. Heres what the plan is for the build.
TFS heads, 6psi Powerdyne SC(already have), Pull motor and put on 5/16 or 3/8 ARP connection rod bolts( what one should I get... are they hard to drill out?) head studs-maybe main studs, arp oil pump drive shaft, and injectors and cam.

Now I have a few questions.

1. What size of injectors should I get?- I figure around 400hp?

2. Any good Cam recomendation. Ill probaly end up getting a TFS stg1 but if i could use something better without piston/valve issues may as well.

3. Would I need different sized dowl pins or use the stock 302 ones.

4. Is it worth it to drill the connecting rod bolt holes out to 3/8s or would 5/16" arps be fine?

5. I havent recived the heads yet... but anyone know if there drilled 7/16" (302) or 1/2" (351w) for the head bolts.?

You really shouldnt just beat the old rod bolts and replace them, the rods truly need to be resized which means they have to go to the machine shop.... Stock bolts are 5/16" and that is what you are limited to on a stock rod.

The heads should be drilled for a 7/16" bolt.

You would be better off with a E or F303 cam with the blower, the B is not a good choice, of course there are other good boosted grinds available.

If you are going to pull the motor that far apart, Id hone it and install new rings gapped for boost and new bearings.
