TFS track heat installed.. PROBLEMS!!!!! RICK91GT or anyone

too rich would make the car fall on its face??? the effects are the EXACTTTTT same as when i didnt have a one way check valve in my map sensor... only.. it is there soo i have nooo clue what it could be... ill recal the FMU tomorrow anyways being that i changed the injectors

Update on the situation..

Since my fmu is calibrated for 19 pound injectors, i figured it was getting too much fuel... i disconnected the vac line off the FMU to see if it made a difference since 24 pound injectors should be enough without the FMU... the same problem is there... i can take the car about an inch off the floor to about 3 pounds of boost to redline and its fine... the second i hit the floor , at 4500-4800ish, i will get a NASTY fall on its face.... im beginning to think its not a fuel problem, but i can be wrong.... can i try to turn the check valve the other way to see if it makes a difference?? im running out of ideas..im clueless

If the car is making boost with out falling flat on it's face the check valve is installed correctly.

All your issues started after you did the upgrades right? I would start tracing every part that was removed or touched and see if you can find anything wrong.

i dont know what to do.. every shop that i call is ignorantly telling me to convert my car to mass air bc i cant run a blower speed density..... if i took their advice and ONLY a mass air swap didnt fix the problem, they would certainly pay for the work because it didnt fix the problem..... i have no clue what the problem is man,... im stumped.... i probably make 2 pounds max at 3/4 throttle..... as soon as i go WOT, it will just die down

And follow Rick's advise from earlier in the thread and start isolating Vac devices one at a time. Also look over that intake really good. Make sure that there's nothing left open or unplugged.

im puzzled... everyone and everyplace i am going to is telling me i MUST convert to mass air to get it running right... should i fork over the 400 to get it done??? will that deffinately fix my problem.... i took a video of the problem when im driving if anyone can host it for me or just wants to IM me to see it.. its a 7 meg video and the problem is clear as day... i showered sirsureshot and it got him puzzled too because the effect is very interesting what it could be

Yeah... you can convert to mass air... but it's not necessary. There's something there that's not right. It's probably right in front of you. As for folks who say mass air is the only way you're gonna fix it.... well... it appears they have no clue. I'm STILL running speed density. :)

Edit: If you're going to find this problem then you're going to have to be systematic about it. What have you ruled out so far aside from the FMU?

OK... would it be worth it to go back to 19 pound injectors before i go to mass air to see if that fixes it>?? every place i call is telling me i cant run 24's on my car without doing anything because im dumping too much fuel... what do you think?

i would love to show u the video of what your car is doing..

EDIT: would too rich cause the car to fall on its face under boost at 4500?? the pressure is set at 40.. maybe i should drop it to 36-38 and see what happens?? im running out of ideas here

The computer is going to adjust the puslee width of the injector to compensate if it is rich at idle. You could swap the inj back to see if your issue goes away, although the 24# inj SHOULD NOT be an issue.

Maybe as you take it apart to swap injectors you'll find you issue...

Did you touch the TPS when you swapped intakes?

another update.. i took the blower belt off and it ran absolutely fin up till redline..... i put the blower belt back on... the SECOND it hits 4 pounds of boost, it falls right on its face... whyyyyyyyyyyy?? should i throw the 450 dowqn on mass air? will that WITHOUT A DOUBT fix my problem???
