Since last year i installed new intake wich is TFS Track Heat because 94 Cobra intake was dying after 5500 rpms, so i drcide to swap it with TFS Track Heat which is good up to 6500

A few months ago i was week away to do dyno with new intake when i broke T5 tranny , than i installed new TKO500 which supposed to take away some power due to bigger gears inside (30lbs heavyer than T5)

So this #s are with TKO500 which is little bit lower and day i dynoed was hot and humidity and i did have some vibration 90mph + (FRPP driveshaft have to be ballanced)

It did move power band up

Here is dyno with New intake

Here is dyno with old setup

As you can see i lost some TQ ,but i think if i had T5 and cooler day it would be a lot higher

BTW i lest same tune on all 3 runs like i use with Cobra intake which is killer tune with Cobra intake ,but it AFR was little bit off so stay tuned for new dyno with real tune

Here is video

The track heat was worth every penny! Congrats on the improvement. Didn't hurt you down low and helped you nicely upstairs where it counts!!

Every change you make seems to be very worthwhile. I remember your 75mm tb results were awesome and now this

Looks just like the lines I plotted - I changed the graph to show your user name Ernan - thanks for putting these together on the same graph.

You traded some mid-range for top-end, just what we'd expect from the differences in the intakes.............net average change over the rpm band was for all practicel purposes zero.

Ernan, was your Cobra intake ported at all? I seem to recall you saying something about that.

It would have been interesting to see what you would have put down without the tremec! Nice change though; you've got to be happy with that!

this is a classic study in how going to a larger cross section intake affects the torque curve.

Ernan, I dyno'd my car before and after the TKO swap and I lost now HP and only 2ftlbs of TQ. It did slow me down a solid 2 tenths at the track though, I still can not explain that one though.

Nice numbers regardless!
