yeah, right.... hope that doesnt happen, but it's possible

i hope we play pissed next week after this bs game tonight. i hope we take it out, and dominate. we'll see i guess.... for now, i'm quite friggin sad... what a ****ty way to end my saturday night :(

Were you at the game? They kept showing this dude screaming his head off before the FG. After they made it he was nearly under the seat. His girl was patting him on the head. Thought..."That's HobieDude right there". :rlaugh:

So much smack talking ends in an embarrasing loss to an unranked .500 team at home.

Sorry your title shot is over.

Big top ten loses...OU drops one to Colorado and WVU lost to USF. Texas getting blown out by K St. Wisconsin in a burner with Mich St as is Cal with Oregon. Upset Saturday for sure.

As far as coaches at LSU...good coaches will be beating down the door here. Miles will have to take a paycut to coach Michigan plus he has a huge buyout. Not sure if Michigan can afford that.

LOL you do realize michigan has alot of wealthy alumni, I dont think the just over 1 million dollar buyout would be much of a problem.

gotta talk the smack, that's the way college football is. and it's not too embarrassing, we played the best we could, and almost made the comeback. we had several players out, and we are a young team. i still think we're a great team, and we still DO have a title shot. though, now, it's not nearly as good, it could still happen. till then, i'm going to keep positive on my team, and hope for the best.

go gators! :nice:

Ah, I don't feel quite as bad now since OU, Florida, Texas and Rutgers all lost too, to unranked teams even. Although not by as much.

WVU did play like crap, but why is everyone focusing on WVU's turnovers? USF had nearly as many.

I'm interested to see how the rest of the season plays out for the Big East.

Yes a #3 team losing to an unranked team at home is embarassing. Especailly one that lost to USF at home.

But you would have to beat LSU probably twice to get a shot at the BCS game, very unlikey. USC, Ohio State, LSU, are not going to all lose two games to let you get back into it.

yeah, i agree, i didnt say it's likely, but i just said it's not a given.

and i dont find it embarrassing. look at where USF is now. they're ranked 6... so it's not like auburn having lost to them is as major as it was before. mistakes happen, and this game was one of them. but, last year, it happened, and we learned from it, and ended up winning it all.

this year, i'm not expecting a NC win (though i havent counted it out). i'd be happy with a shot at the SEC champ game though.

i went into this year with the mentality of "we will probably do "well" this year, but not "great," next year we will be great with the experience from this year." i'm still holding that mentality. if i keep that mindset, the only thing that can happen is they do better than my expectations, and i have no issues with that
