Well their only ridiculous big loss was against the current #3 team. What happens when they're ranked 4th after they beat OSU...

well, their only "big" loss in terms of points.... but losing to appy state sure didnt make them look too good either. i'd say losing close as crap in the last 2 minutes to both auburn and LSU, and having one bad game against UGA (comparable to michigan vs oregon) is more impressive, when you consider our other games.... michigan has really no impressive wins. the only ranked team was penn state, who they barely beat, and has been proven to be nothing that they were expected to be earlier in the season....

but if they go up that much by beating osu.... ugh

Who has Florida beaten? The only ranked team are 24 and 25

i agree, but 25 and 25 is better than nobody ranked, not to mention our losses are much more "understandable" in that they were all against very good opponents. whereas michigan has beat no current ranked team, and their loss to appy state hurts them pretty bad....

I don't know Michigan will probably be right outside the top 10 next week if they win. They're the only team in the Big Ten that stands a chance to upset Ohio State, it just depends on how much angst they bring to the table. Both teams have been designed to do one thing and that is to beat each other, a National Championship is just pudding on the cake...

i guess a good way to view it is based on strength of schedule. this site ranks them pretty well. it uses Sagarin's conference rankings (a computer poll) and then uses common sense for the out of conference schedule....

LSU is 5,
UF is 8,
Michigan is 55,
OSU is 64

funny thing is, 10 of the 12 SEC teams are in the top 30 strength of schedules, with only mississippi state (37) and arkansas (60) being lower

All I know is My Noles pulled the upset and have atleast one thing to be proud of this season.

And Look who has the toughest schedule:rolleyes:

yup, i was screaming for blobby to not mess that game up. he almost did. thankfully they pulled it off.

and, yeah, fsu has a tough schedule due to their OOC opponents. if you schedule 2 sec teams (UF and Bama), and then a fairly good one like colorado, that really bumps your SOS up a lot. not to mention their in conference one is pretty tough as well.

WVU is ranked 10th?

So what's all this about the Big East being a crappy conference and WVU's schedule being easy?

I see we're ranked way above Oklahoma...

part of the list is from computer voting. WVU has a high computer ranking from having people in the top 25 on their list at diff times, as well as being that most of their "tough" games are away games. having a hard away game is worth a bunch more than a hard home game. at least i think that's why the ranking is how it is

well, i thought white and slaton did not look too good tonight, slaton looked nice on his last touchdown run, but otherwise, not a very good game by WV. i was really hoping to see louisville win, as i feel WV is over rated, but, whatever, they won, congrats to them

the best part was seeing their punter hit himself in the head like 4 times with his helmet

He wasn't the regular punter was he? And yea...that was funny.

White got knocked the **** out...
