The 2007 Official College Football Thread

That was a horrible defensive game. Michigan tried to give it away several time. That Florida team was NOT the one I saw earlier in the season.

Arkansas wasn't even on the field with Missouri today.

USC's going to smoke Illinois. That should be Missouri there. Arkansas and Illinois would have been a better game.

Why does everyone blame the Rose Bowl for this matchup. There wasnt much of an option really.

Georgia, was already tied into their bowl games and the Rose would have had to get permission from the Sugar or Fiesta to get them and its unlikely they would have said ok, because then the Sugar would have been like Hawaii vs Arizona State so no one would have watched.

Really the only other option would have been Arizona State since Missouri couldnt have been in due to a 2 team limit. Then it would have been Pac 10 vs Pac 10 so again no one would have cared outside of the Southwest.

The Big 10 travels well, brings lots of $$, and the are the traditional Rose team with Pac 10.

I would have loved to see Georgia play USC but it wasnt likely to happen.

I don't know how much of a home field advantage it is since half the people that live in that region of Florida are retirees from Michigan...

Good point, pretty much the gulf side of Florida is midwest folk and the atlantic side is NY and east coast folk.

BOO YAH!

When my Mountaineers show up to play, they can do some amazing things.

Trust me, there were a lot of people here that doubted we could beat Oklahoma, especially after all the crap that's happened lately. But damn, those boys showed up with something to prove.

What do you think of Bill Stewart? I would think they would have looked to a name coach to bring the recruits. The guy seems genuine but it can't be to popular in Morgantown right now.
