Okay, I cannot get a straight answer for why I should get one over the other so please debate this here. See my signature for my mods. I will be staying N/A and the only future mods currently are plenum/tb, pulleys, and suspension. I already ordered by Trick Flow plenum and I need to know which size Accufab t/b to get. TIA!!!

get the 75mm in cause you do go charger in the future it will be there. The extra 5mm isn't gona hurt anything.

PS i like the trickflow plenum its a decent upgrade

I know most people say the Accufab is better, but I like how the Trick Flow looks and I think the difference will be minimal. BTW, I should tell everyone the only power increase I'm looking for is at the dragstrip. Is the 70 or 75 better for gains in the 1/8?

With the plenums you only see 1 or 2 hp difference so it really doesn't matter. Um i think the 70mm will give you better low end power where the 75 will help you in the top end. But its not even gona make a tenth of a differnce so its up to you

I went with the Accufab 75mm TB and Plenum and I couldn't be happier. You shouldn't see any decrease in gains by going with the 75 and you may not see any increase either, but at least this mod can grow with you as you do other mods. Be prepared for some weird ass **** to happen when you put this on though lol. My RPMs would hang at 1500 everytime before dropping and when I'd press in the clutch they'd sky rocket. I had the car tuned the day after and everything was normal. Oh yeah.. the TPS that you have to transfer broke on the dyno.. its a $45 part that we had to replace.

I tend to agree, go 75mm that way when you decide you need something else you don't have to buy another TB. By the way how did you run?

I can't get her to run any better than a 9.1 -- that's with a .512 r/t and a 2.1 60 ft. I don't know if it's just my driving or if that's as fast as she'll get right now. I'm gonna test out some DR's soon & see if I can get a high 8. Meanwhile, I lose to the turbo'd/NOS ricers that are running mid 8's

Tempting to try, but I'm gonna stay away from the bottle. I don't trust myself not to blow something up

Lol understandable if you get a window switch you will be good then cuase if you miss a shift or bounce the rev limiter it cuts the juice off. Its the safe way to go.

I will cut ya a deal got some extras for it too

TF is a good choice, makes around 2HP less then an accufab in stock trim...and its a heck of a lot cheaper. As for TB, if your staying N/A, go 75MM....it has been dyno proven to make 1 HP over a 70 (teh mag tests..whoo hoo), for a total of 2 RWHP over the stock 65. Tests were done on a stock 03 GT I believe, adverage of 3 runs per set...same conditions, same dyno. They also tested this out on a 500 or 600 at the crank 2V and the 70 actually made 1-2 HP over the 75 in that case....plenums/TB combos were adding 17-20HP at that power lv. Hope that helps...and gives you a little hint as to why I still have my stock TB...$250 for 2HP....no thanks LOL.

Ok so i feel a little better my first time on a "real" track I got a 9.17 and was spinning through the 60' lights only getting a 2.20 something 60'. But on the plus side I did beat every ricer I was up against now the 03 cobra and the malibu we won't talk about.

With the hp you're putting to your wheels, the 4.10's on your DR's will get you 8's easy! You'll love the gears. When you get them you'll wonder why you didn't get them first!

Me too... At first I got a MAC 75mm with my C&L but that damn piece of crap throttle body from MAC would stick and my idle was all screwed up. I tossed out the TB after a couple weeks and put an Accufab in. Perfection from the get-go. It idles perfectly, and it is smooth as butter. Get the 75mm for the extra $5 to $10. It won't hurt and if you want to upgrade to a SC, you're set.
