I plan to get a catted X pipe for my 02 GT...5peed Tranny..

I am looking for an x pipe that has that deap rumble loudish tone.......know what i mean?

and good HP gains....Any suggestionz?

Thank for any advice.. :flag:

:notnice: dump the cats! You can always throw the stock back on once a year if you have a problem passing inspection and you just have to throw some MIL elims on to keep from getting any codes.

I love the way my MAC ProChamber sounds, although it's not a "Conventional X Pipe" it's basically the same thing. Doesn't sound like all the rest.

PS: I have some MILs I'll sell you if you decide not to go with cats.

I hope i don't get flamed for this, since its taboo to do this with our exhuast.
Most people say X-pipe and chambered mufflers sound bad, but they most likely havent heard them in person.
- I ran Flowmaster 40 Series with a Bassani X-Pipe and it was soooooooo angry sounding. It was rumbly and deep and even droned at ~2k like the flows, but above 3k it just screamed like an X-pipe. It was loud, deep, sort of raspy, and racey too. Best setup ever. A few people on here run this setup.

*SUMMARY - Get Bassani O/R X-Pipe :D

although, I love my bassani, I think Dr. Gas still sounds BADASS and i believe Dr. Gas overall gives out the best power across the band, either bassani or dr. gas, either of those 2, you can't go wrong :nice:
Yea, thats true, but also with the Dr.Gas you will pay ALOT more for installation and can't do it yourself. It comes in alot of separate peices and has ot be welded. The Bassani X can be installed in your driveway in a few hours or less.
