I was wondering if anybody could help me find some more information on the special Mustang know as the T-5. My father and I have seemed to have stumbled upon one after purchacing a rough 67 coupe to use as a parts car for a fastback project we have started. The car has been wrecked (once where the roof was smashed [because, as we were told, someone rolled the car] but was then repaired and then again, after being fixed the first time it was hit in the drivers quarter) and has also suffered through a flood. There are many pieces missing on the car but we would both hate to see it be lost considering this is one of about 453 67 T-5 coupes. Both the Vin and the buck tage (which is a valid T-5 tag) match but the door tag is missing due to the door having to be replaced in the first wreck. If anyone would have any additional information on these cars (anything from more history to where to find parts and others with similar cars) It would be greatly appreciated... And oh yeah, to all of you Dads out there, Happy Father's Day.

The mustang was named the T-5 in germany because the germans already had a truck called the mustang. I believe the t-5 and any other mustang share the same parts, which you should be able to replace at any mustang supplier. If you plan on going the concours restoration of your t-5, I fear that there are no true aftermarket or reproduction "t-5" parts.

Good luck

Most of the part are the same but there are a few that had to be changed to meet german regulations.

The LIST

Thanks,
