I’ve learned my lesson a time or two. It felt like a half mile walk, but I had a good view walking back.

Thinking of getting cats installed. She sure is stinky, not as bad as my 66 but would be nice not to smell like exhaust.

And look: The dog food sets it down about where it needs to be.

One more dog and the rear will be perfect.

Finally got a bulb. It’s a diode dynamics led. It’s not super bright but it works. It’s very flickers though, even if I lean on the car it flickers, really weird.

Does anyone make the plates for the tubular GT40 intakes? Something blank maybe. I saw some on eBay with the Mustang logo for $500! Searched with no luck..

The original tubular GT 40 intake covers are super expensive....if you can find them. Some people make custom ones. As for the cats, I really don't understand why people remove them on street cars. All of my cars have cats. I HATE the stink of a car without cats. Get some high flow cats welded in, you will be glad you did.

Know of any links to people who make them?

How do the high flow cats effect the sound? I have dynamic mufflers on the car now, they kinda aren’t loud enough for me..

My son bought a 04 gt a couple years ago and it didn't have cats. I bought him some Flowmaster mini cats for about $150 from LMR and had an exhaust shop splice them in is aftermarket h pipe for about $100. Made it sound better, smelled better and he passed emissions just fine.

Weird I wouldn’t think it would make it louder.

Going from 4 restrictive cats to 2 high flow cats.

I’m lucky, our county doesn’t have emissions. But I’m tired of smelling like exhaust, so some high flows are in my future. I’m just surprised it may make it louder especially since I have no cats on it now.

They have to sit in quarantine first.

I no longer have emmissions testing either, but cats are covered under federal laws and the local cops love to write fat tickets for excessively loud cars. With cats on my car, I get nothing but thumbs up from the local cops.
