How would this raffle work? Raffle numbers off then the person with that number wins and then pays the price I want??

Well not exactly.

Determine the price you want first. Say $500. You then pick a number of tickets you want to try. Let's say 50. That's $10 a ticket. You gotta find buyers for all 50 first, then pull a name and they get the intake. Shipping would be on them, or you can work it into the price.

Of course if you wanted to sell less tickets, you'd need to up the price. $50 a ticket means you only gotta sell 10.

On some of the FB groups I'm on, I've seen cars raffled off like this. Seller gets their price an buyer gets a car for $250 or something low. Hardest part is keeping the whole thing open for everyone to see as some would just say what's to stop a seller from selling all the tickets, getting their price, and then having a buddy "win" it and then just selling it again later.

Not as good looking though. I really wish I could afford one of those.

Dang man, wish you would have listened to me. But, the Cobra intake is what should be on there.

I was really leaning towards keeping it, but it does need a Cobra intake. Seems to me an actual Cobra TB are pretty hard to find.

Do upper and lower together. Although with gt40 heads, just having the lower ported my tmoss might be all you need (and cheaper)

Btw, have you looked to see if the lower intake was original to the car? Look around the dist area and you should see a firing order cast into the lower. That's original. I wouldn't touch it. Find an explorer lower to port

If you see an Fnumber part number, it's prob part of the gt40 tubular kit

I see the firing order near the distributor and then this cast into the other side of the intake. I assume it’s a casting date.

So I’m now looking for a TB to go with the Cobra intake and I cannot find any. I found these two, which I don’t think are Cobra TBs.

Physically are the the same as the Cobras?

Top one is explorer. Will need to be converted. Bottom one already has been (or is from FRPP catalog) but the throttle linkage is bent. Should be pretty damn close to avtrue '93 Cobra TB

Could the bend be fixed?

What needs to be converted from an explorer TB to make it work with a mustang? Throttle linkage?

Thanks for the link. I may just buy an aftermarket throttle body for now and then keep a look out on eBay and CL for a Cobra TB.

Now just waiting on that Cobra upper intake.
