Well the old vortech is off and the New polished KB is on. MAN what a diffrence. This KB is awesome. The car mad 389/397. I'm very pleased, all that torque down low is a diffrent feeling than the vortech. THanks goes out to T&J for doing such a great job again! Oh yeah ....Thank you Micheal Kidd for a great deal on A polished KB!!!!!

I made 381/360 with the vortech, but had to get timing pulled and it never went back on the dyno. The numbers aren't that diffrent , but the fell SURE is.

How much would a decent used Vortech go for, and what exactly needs to be done to the engine to prepare for something like that?

Set for 18* max timing. I think KB uses 21*

Doubt I would tell the difference between the extra hp and tq. but I know it is safe!

Congrats on the KB! I never drove a centri'd car, but I know you've got to love the low end torque.
