So has anybody ever seen or maybe have pics of a black fox with satin black stripes??

I was going to paint my GT black with ghost flames, but that Knight Rider KR looks super kick a$$ with that 2-tone black thing going on!!

Curious what a fox might like like if anybody has any pics...

My post isn't going to help this thread out any, but can I just say that I saw a GT500 KR today in person? I can't say I'm a big fan of the wheels. The rest of the car is the sickness, though.

foxes dont look good with stripes, the boxy shape just doesnt work with it, not matter what color combo, I've seen a couple that some people would say looks good, but I dont think it looks as good as it would without the stripes. That gt500 is SICK with that color combo, but i dont think it would look good on a fox.

They don't look good with twin stripes IMO, but they look good with an '85-86 GT style satin black fat stripe treatment down the hood (ala Mach 1 style).

Well personally, I like stripes on a Fox body, otherwise I wouldn't be contemplating it. But everybody has their own personal opinion and is entitled to it.

I used to have silver stripes on my car and I thought it looked really nice, but didn't like how flashy it was so I took them off, plus they were vinyl and starting to fade really bad.

I think foxes can look pretty sick with stripes, but you have to nail the width and spacing for them to look right, otherwise they'll look like crap. I would post up some pics of nicely striped foxes, but my computer is down.

Stripes on Foxes have to follow the taper of the hood cowl to look just right. TurboFox's car has stripes like that, IIRC, and that car is beautiful. Even though they are just straight, plain stripes, I think your GT looked pretty good with those silver stripes.

The proper way to do stripes on ANY Mustang is to have them follow the width of the car. The first cars to get them were the Shelbys and they were tapered and followed the width of the car (as in got thicker in the middle and narrower on the ends, both front and back). When you do it right, you can't even tell they change in thickness...they just look "right". When you don't taper them, it creates an optical illusion that they get thinner in the center of the car.

I really like the flat black stripe on the black shelby.

85 is right, the stripes on the roof was wider then the stripes on the body, you wont be able to notice it in pics, but the stripes arent done right unless its done like that. Just look at any old mustang.
