the TURBO mock up is complete..

we decided to run the turbo on the driver side which rules out the air cond and power steering but does leave room for a driver side or passenger side exit water pump for the crossflow radiator.

from this point its all doing the welding of the stainless :nice:

brought to you by F.P. :D

is the pass side going to merge at a 90 deg angle?
is that a 3" dp?
what's the ground clearance like on the dp? it looks pretty low.
what if someone runs an aftermarket oil pan?
how's the clearance between the dp and radiator? can you run an electric fan?

---the 2 come together at a -Y-
---yes it is a 3" down pipe
---we talked about that already- we can 90 around it instead of the 45 going past it.
---it's not that bad at all, we will take some other pics of that for you next go around.
---who ever runs this kit needs to run an electric fan and we acounted for that along with some people running a fatter than a stock 3 row radiators.

The passenger side isn't quite t a 90. But the more I looked around, most companies have it like that. I would guess theirs looks like a 90. But mine is about a 30 degree angle. so it doesn't slam right into the other side of the pipe. I thought about the pan, still 100 percent sure. It would take about 45 more degrees to get around one. as it sits, it runs right next to the lower control are framing.
There's a ton of room between the Dp and rad. The only place anything comes close is the exhuast housing, but still a good 1-1.5 inches away.
My flex pipe is here, so now I can finish it up.

How much room do you have paul ? I would think this one has to have more than what you have. If nothing else, just becasue thte DP is smaller. It does sit a little higher. You have alot of room. I wanna say this one in just over 7 inches from the ground, when the front fender well is 28 inches from the ground. Even with the car as low as Richards, that still gives you better distance ( than long tubes ) considering the lowest point is between the tires. And not after them causing a scrape after a speed bump.
I thinking when I did this one that if someone does have an after market pan I can just put it under the lower control like yours. But with lower ground clearance.
