The Official kiddiccarus 2007 NFL Thread

Since the Colts won the Superbowl and I am the reigning Mouth of the Colts on this forum it is my pleasure to begin the new season of smack talking and PATRIOT bashing. Game 1 of the pre-season is about to begin. I have my tickets already for the Aug 25th game Colts vs Lions I am sure we can chalk up a win right now for that one. It is the anual Father/Son game and I will be taking my "Tennesee Titan" fan with me to the game.

That is right I live in a house Divided once again. Back in the day I was 100% Michigan while my brother was 100% Mighigan State..... Now its a Titans / Colts house and we all agree on Michigan!!!!!

Well lets look at the upcoming season of smack talking and tailgating as we start year 4 of this tradition on Stangnet. I better see some famuliar faces on here and some NEW avatars and not the old tired assed ones from last season.

Post up Ho's and let the best team win........

Well Being that this year the talk will be all about the Patriots and all the talent they picked up in the off season Im expecting it to be a very good year. Looking back at what we had to work with in the last game of the year last season and how close they came to going to the big show yet again, leaves me with a good feeling as far as how well they will preform this year with all the new additions. First preseason game is in 10 days. As far as my contribution to some smack I'll start out with this....

I cant wait to see what Gonzolas from *cough* Ohio State can do on the field. I hope he wont fizzle out being a White WR and all LOL.....

Chad Scott is already out for the season so thats not good. On a side note Merriweather from Miami is looking really good. I have a feeling he will be playing before the year is out.

I was pretty upset when Stokley was dropped from the roster but now that Gonzolas is there I am thinking that this season will be back in the air more than on the ground, so that is good and bad.

Isn't their running game gone anyway? Gonzolas still has a lot to learn though as well as Merriweather but I dont expect to see him on the field unless someone goes down.

Oh, I would say that it is 80% there but no where what i would like to see.

Freeney Signed so I am now Happy Happy Happy....... When I was in Indy with my son for a father/son camp he was one of the players that showed me some things to teach my 4th and 5th graders for the defensive line and the line backers.

He's still yet to play any real game experience. Talent VS Talent he's not a straight up replacement for Stokley.

I was saying the running game is 80% of last year not Gonzolas lol. He needs to earn his stripes.

Don't think the Colts will have enough for the Pats this year. Plus I hate the fact they got rid of Stokely. The only thing I still like about the Colts is Addai. Otherwise...

Since Miami looks like they will wallow in the bottom of the AFC I guess my undivided attention swings to the Saints. Just so you all have my playcard...

It's the Dolphins, Saints, Steelers and the Pats are my loyalties...in that order. The rest are losers.

Pre-season is upon us. Saints take on Pittsburg August 5th. I know it's only preseason but watdahell.

Since my Dolphins will pretty much suck this season I'm left with the home dogs. Many are picking the Saints to win the NFC South and take on the AFC Champ in the Superbowl. My biggest problem with that is every season we go in with high expectations they get chopped at the knees. But we can dream...
