Cassel and the backups are in now so the scoring should stop..

EDIT..

The scrub squad moved the ball pretty well if they wanted to rub it in they could have kicked a FG here

That is that damn offensive line I have been talking about for years. That is what lost that game. . .that and the lack of tackling. First 100 yard rusher in 35 games

wow 56-10 I didnt see any of the second half b/c I had to get up early for work today. I guess the second string can move the ball as well. Is it their fault they put up points too?

dude.... they still had their starters in all the up into the 4th qt.. and only pulled them after they had 48pts... don't give me this "is it their fault they put up points" bull chit..... yes its obvious they run up the points going for 4th down conversions when they are up by +30 over the opposing team.

IMO, the team winning should go for every point they can get. No point in laying down and rolling over... go for it!

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa patriots score to many points waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa patriots are not playing fair waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa my vagina hurts.

To many people are forgetting something. There are two sides to the ball one being a defense its there job to stop the ball movement, cause turnovers and prevent points. Here is an amazing concept....HOW ABOUT A DEFENSE STEP UP AND DO THEIR JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!

Key players very well could be hurt and if they are then oh well thats how it goes its a risk they take. Its the job of the offense to go out and score points and if no one can stop them then thats just to bad as far as Im concerned I hope they continue to cram the ball down the throats of every team they play.

In a way I agree. However, if someone gets angry enough, they may take a very cheap shot and take out Brady's knees. It could happen. It happened in the 1986 season to the Bears. Some player named "mean" something or other took out the Bears QB- dislocated his shoulder after a play. The Bears were forced to go to a backup QB and it was downhill from there.

If this does happen to Brady during a late game points splurge, I hope Pats fans aren't the ones crying about the cheap shot! It really could happen and totally ruin what could be a "magical" season for the Pats.

Its a judgement call for Belichick to make.

If I was the head coach, once the game was certainly won, I'd pull most of my starters not just to give the other guys a break, but to ensure they don't get injured. That's why I'm not a head coach in the NFL. It has the added value of getting bench warmers playing time that could come in handy.

Belichick has a reason for why he is doing what he is doing I have explained it before for why I think he is doing it but if anyone else wants clarification then I will again.

Thats not true. the starters came out right at the beginning of the 4th quarter.. the 4th quarter started on a pats drive deep in buffalo territory, you are not going to swap personal in the middle of a drive.. that drive ended in a touchdown and the starting offense was pulled after that.

BTW the first team offense scored touchdowns on all 7 possessions.. BTW about the 4th down conversion there was two things that could have happened there

1. a sure 3 points..

2. or a chance for buffalo to have a big stop..

So please this is not pop warner stop with this BS of running up the score.. I never heard this nonsense when the colts were scoring a ton of points or the rams several years back or any other team.. Only difference is this team also has a very good defense so lets look at the obvious if you have THE best offense in the league and you are in the top three in points allowed then yeah the games are going to be very lopsided.

It's obvious jealousy and hating and it's BS

What do you want the pats to do.. Should they take the starters out in the first quarter so they get rusty? Should they suck on purpose to make some of you out there feel better about your own teams???

I don't care what the score is the starters have to play 3 quarters.... As a pats fan I don't want to watch Casell throwing the ball to chad jackson.. I want to see brady and moss.. So why the hell should I have to watch bad players to keep people from crying. Hell this is not going to last forever, I want to enjoy it while it lasts...

Plus I want brady to break peytons record so far belichick has taken him out of several games early in the 4th quarter, if he starts taking him out at half time he might not get the 12 more td's he needs to break the record.

Well you do have some valid points in your post but there is two things I want to talk about in it..

1. late in the game running up the score..

Most of the patriots lopsided games the points were scored in the first through third quarters.. a few games they had defensive scores late like the washington game and last night.. The only game I saw some really late scoring was the Dallas game and that was because that team was too good of a team to let up on the gas, the lead was not big enough and they proved they could move the ball..

2. cheap shots

Cheap shots are not what they used to be in the NFL, there is way to much money involved and lots of these guys know each other and don't want to cost another guy a ton of money.. Plus they also know if they take brady down like that then they can kiss their qb or themself goodbye and they would not want to put a teammate or themself in that position.. Sure there will be some loose cannons but I would be surprised if somebody tried that will a very high profile player like brady or moss..

The reason is not too important. What could be the result of his "reason" is what I addressed.
