Look. This isn't a knock on the other thread but a place to post up for the games of the day. Once it is over I move it into NFL thread. So you little girls quit your homo bitching.

The individual games dont last long enough to warrant separate threads for each game. Only one I see being viable is the SuperBowl thread only to be made by someone who's teams going.

There were 16 games most weekends that were all talked about in one thread, I dont see the need to make separate ones for 4 games. Just my opinion.

not even QB's the caliber of these two would yield the same results if they swapped spots. Thats one thing I have never believed in. QB's are products of their coachs and the players around them. its not the same when you go elsewhere.

That's the point I was trying to make. However, great QB's can still play great for another team that is not very good...and lose.
That's why I don't think it's fair to say Brady is better than Manning. The Pats as a team are just better this year.

I like the idea of having threads that people post in. If it's a thread that no one will post in, then it's a bad idea.

It's also a good idea to seperate the regular season with weekly playoff threads.
Imagine if you will, an NFL team that called itself, "America's Team" and somehow won a playoff game. Wouldn't they deserve a thread???

I dont think is much better if any then manning. Manning is still a hall of fame QB and just because he lost today doesn't automatically make brady so much better? I dont care about TD records that means nothing to me.. whooppee he has a TD record who cares....

Thanks. Unlike the SN assclown, I actually know a little about NFL football. Yes, it was the Indy D that cost them the game. They allowed way too many big plays. I was very surprised the Chargers could pull out a win in Indy. The fans were really great there today too.

The best thing to do is root for another team. Even if you dislike both, pick the one you dislike the least and watch the rest of the playoffs.

Being totally honest, Im surprised how well the Giants have stepped up recently. With a decimated backfield, beating the Cows in the playoffs was something I WISHED for but did not really think could happen. The Cows have a very good offense, they can run & pass.

Thankfully Spags made some great adjustments at 1/2 time that basically shut down Owens and Barber in the second half. The only time the Giants EVER pressured the Romo in 3 games this year was the 4th quarter today!

Cant agree with you more man. Im surprised the Giants have made it this far. I thought they would go 8-8... when they made the playoffs i wanted them to win done game and id be happy. Today after this win, im the same humble self i have been. Just praying they "show up" against green bay, how i was praying they would show up for the Bucs, and they did, and dallas, and the ended up showing up.. So you have to be in it to win it, if the gmen's season is over next week in lambo thats fine with me, but they have a 50/50 shot at winning

mrvax said:
Only a homer can make that claim. As a fan of another team, I can honestly say that both QB's are very, very good and probably are about equal.
Only a fool would rule out the FACT that Brady enjoys a much better receiving corps and a better offensive line.

This is the playoffs.. this isnt the regular season

PLAYOFFS DESERVE their own thread.. The NFL thread should be shut, and all talk moved weekly designated playoff threads period.

Yeah that fans were real great in indy

I was just watching the news and I saw that a 14 year old girl from NH won a contest and was at the RCA dome.. She was booed by the fans there for wearing a patriots shirt..

That pissed me off as much as I dislike the chargers I am glad the colts lost today after hearing that..

Come ON booing children is just wrong. Thats almost as bad as when the philly fans threw stuff at santa claus..

Hope they enjoy the off season!

Have you ever been to a game? This happens at all stadiums. Last week Giants/Bucs in Tampa, a guy & his mom got beer tossed on them for wearing a Giants jersey. The fans got very upset at the end of the game.

You are always going to have afew jackasses. Usually they are drunk.

Had nothing to do with Brady winning and Manning losing. I would have felt the same regardless.

The boo'ing for that 14 yr old girl was uncalled for, bunch of pricks.

Thus thats why I hate the colts and the fans.

Where I agree this was wrong to do to a 14 year old....

but what does that have anything to do with the COLTS as a team, warranting them to loose??? Did you see any of the COLTS PLAYERS booing this girl?? NO.. so you dislike the colts because of the fans how is that fair????

fans booing have NOTHING to do with the Colts as a team. sorry....

and as others have said, fans for EVERY team are like this..

The deal is that I will start the playoff thread and after the games were over and the discussions died out I would move them into the big thread. I just thought it would be nice to have a seperate thread to talk game day and post game so it wouldn't be all jumbled up. The first week of playoffs threads is already merged.

Romo choked when the line kept collapsing on him. I'm a little surprised at the Colts loss though. Manning has a tendency to choke when the game is on the line too though. I thought he was over it with the way he's been playing for the last year or so....guess not.

Go Bengals! Oh wait....they're not playing.

Go Packs!

"This is not about Tony. You guys can point the finger at him, you can talk about the vacation, and if you do that, it's really unfair," Owens said, his voice choked with emotion. "It's really unfair. That's my teammate. That's my quarterback. You guys do that, it's not fair. We lost as a team. We lost as a team, man."

My buddy is a hardcore Colts fan and even he tells me that Colts fans are a bunch of trailer park trash. He's from Indy, his family has season tickets and he hates going because he says he's constantly reminded of how uneducated the Colts fans are. I'm just throwing that out there! Not that I'm saying I haven't met any turd's at the blade, but I think the consensus is: Indy fans are morons! I mean, they dont even know when to cheer thats why they pump sound into that dome.

Go Pats!

I don't know about you guys but I draw the line at booing childern just because they wore the jersey of team from where they are from..

BTW i don't mind the colts players and staff except for polian.. Polian is a ass.. but I have no problem with the rest of the team.

It was a embarrassment for a team and fan base that claims to be classier than NE or any other team

Maybe it would have.. But this happend in indy.. If it happens in foxboro I will feel just as disgusted at pats fans for doing that..

Well I never been to the RCA dome but I doubt all colts fans are trailer trash.. I am sure the vast majority of them are good people who enjoy football.

There is turds at every stadium.. I am sure many pats fans would have done the same thing if a kid with a colts or steelers shirt was introduced.. Just want to remind everybody that the next time people want to throw stones at NE or boston sports fans in general they should remember this..

Even so called classy fans from the midwest can be asses..

I am glad a Colts fan agrees with me on this.. Hell if I as a adult was at the RCA dome with a Pats shirt on I would expect some abuse.. Thats ok but this was a probably the biggest moment in the life of this girl so far, I hope it did not ruin it for her..
