Where I agree this was wrong to do to a 14 year old....

but what does that have anything to do with the COLTS as a team, warranting them to loose??? Did you see any of the COLTS PLAYERS booing this girl?? NO.. so you dislike the colts because of the fans how is that fair????

fans booing have NOTHING to do with the Colts as a team. sorry....

and as others have said, fans for EVERY team are like this..

Green Bay Packers VS New England Patriots.

If god strikes the patriots dead on the field next sunday then the chargers might win. If a huge sink hole opens up on the packers side lines and the entire packers teams falls into the abyss then the giants might win.

OK...not a problem. I'll just lock this one next week so we can all post in one thread.

This one was here before all the others, why would this one be locked?

No need for separate threads for every game, its retarded.

That's the point I was trying to make. However, great QB's can still play great for another team that is not very good...and lose.
That's why I don't think it's fair to say Brady is better than Manning. The Pats as a team are just better this year.

so Manning is better b/c why?

He has more career passing yards....big deal

How many Playoff games has Brady played in and lost compared to Manning? Its not just the QB that is responsible for winning a game and it was not just them that won or lost those games but the QB takes the brunt of responsibility when they do lose in most cases.

IMO there is nothing that can be said about Peyton Manning that makes him stand out as being better then Tom Brady.

Actually this thread is for the regular season,, and since the regular season is OVER its retarted to keep it and it should be locked... Seperate threads for playoffs SHOULD be made since the playoffs are special...

This thread has run its course.
Time to move onto the post season threads.
I fully expect to see someone start a new 2008 NFL regular season thread right after the Superbowl.

I agree that a fan (bandwagoners do not count) of the Superbowl winning team should make the new thread.

My deal is that I start a game thread on game day and we can discuss the game. Once everything settles I just move it here. It still gets included in this thread but for discussions sake it keeps the game talk in one place without the extra stuff in between.

I dont really think one is better than the other, but Brady isnt a better QB than Manning imo. I think you are not giving the situation Brady was placed in enough credit. I dont think anyone can argue that Brady isnt great, but if he played with Atlanta or Oakland he wouldnt be considered one of the elite of all time. Manning did come into an awful team and took them in his second year to 13-3 and a playoff birth. He did that with Jim Mora as coach and a horrible defense.

Brady has had the best coach in the history of the NFL his whole career, if you dont think that has anything to do with Bradys career playoff record you are crazy. God I just wish the Colts had a coach as good as him, Dungy is a great man but has so under achieved with the talent he has had.

But on a personal note, I was embarrased when the Colts fans booed the girl. It was pathetic and disgraceful. But if you dont think every team has its dumb fans then you are crazy. At least it wasnt Philly or they would have thrown batteries at her.

This is the point I was making.
You cant say one is better than the other b/c of the different situations. Yep, Brady is an outdoor QB, credit him. Manning has no where near the number of skilled receivers & great coaches, credit him.

Both are outstanding and are the best in the NFL right now. Why not leave it at that?
