I think he took an extension awhile ago but Im not sure. I just dont see how they would let someone like Moss go, its almost like letting Brady go, then again Brady has taken pay cuts in order to stay with the team and not to go over the cap.If they let any of these new receivers go Id say its Stallworth, not b/c hes not good, actually I think hes gone great this year but only b/c Gafney is doing really well also so they could slide him in his spot.

Brady needs Moss as much as Moss Needs Brady. Moss knows he wont have as much suscess w/ out another QB like brady and other then Manning there are none like those two, Brady would not have had the TD passes this year that he did w/ out Moss.Belichick needs Brady, brady needs Moss, its all a big happy family

You know i researched this since you keep basically saying how brady is a saint and is taking less money to get moss bla bla...... And what really happened is they "restructured" his deal. He in reality is getting NO LESS then he was before his restructured deal...

But while Brady was universally lauded, and justifiably so, people should know this: The reworking of the contract didn't cost Brady anything at the pay window. He still will earn the $6 million that is due him in 2007. Not a penny less.

The money will just be distributed differently, that's all. Instead of having a base salary of $6 million for this year, Brady received a signing bonus of $5.28 million and had his base salary reduced to $720,000. Do the math, and unless your calculator is defective, that still adds up to $6 million.

Still a paycut compared to what he'd get on the free market.

After this restructure of his current contract, he will end up with 2mil+ over what he was "originally" susposed to get.

Moss would have his ring. I think he will want payed. Also lets not forget that he has this battery thing that's gonna need cleared up. Although according to him it was an "accedent." How you get that I have no idea. Pats still should find a way to resign him. And no he didn't sign an extention

his inital pay was not as much, yes he made up for what he did not initially get.

What do I have to Wah about? My teams 17-0 and on their way to their 4th Superbowl since 2001 you think I care that I misspoke on Tom Bradys finical status? Who cares.

Brady could have held the pats up for manning money but did not because he wanted the team to be able to resign players like seymour and bring in guys like thomas and stallworth... It's not that he is taken a pay cut.. but he is taken less than he is worth...

BTW Brady was supposedly more than a little ticked off when the pats traded branch away after brady and other stars on this team took less money to prevent players like branch from walking away...

If brady hit the open market it would be the biggest FA contract in NFL history. I highly doubt brady will ever see FA so we will never know but it would be a huge number with many teams bidding for him.

Wait so you are smarter because the team you follow is doing well?

So does that mean you go back to being an idiot when they stop playing well and you quite watching? My money is you are always going to be an idiot but what do I know.

NFC Championship Sunday: Giants at Packers

I like Mary's boyfriend so I'm pulling for the Pack. Peytons brother just annoys the hell out of me.

FYI...after the game this threads gets married to the big one so you knuckleheads be happy...or got forth and multiply.
