Brady has always been humble, hes never going to say anything like that regardless of its the truth or not. Hes been to and won 3 Superbowl's and endured the leagues best defenses this year trying to get under his skin and beat the patriots. Ravens, Eagles, Steelers, Cowboys, Giants, Indy all had good defenses, yet no one could do anything to stop the offensive machine of the patriots. I seriously doubt that Coughlin and the dumb ass giants are going to come up w/ some type of scheme that gets brady all confused and he wont know what to do , I think your thinking of the wrong QB in this game.

Seems like all you can seem to do is take my posts and take out Patriots and put in Giants b/c you say everything I do just in the opposite direction as Ive often said how Manning will see things hes never seen before. Your team really lack that much clout where you cant think of anything on your own?

Its not a fact, its your opinion which can be construed as an insult considering your calling myself and my posts dumb ( Im quite offended). So while your behind go read your own rule book. Members can tread the line w/ out issues as long as there's an understanding between both parties. Mods/Admins on the other hand are held to a higher standard. Your not allowed to encroach into the gray area. Something your not very good at considering your apologies in other NFL threads regarding your behavior

As another member i did not see his post as a personal attack what so ever. I'm sure other mods and admins didn't see it as an attack either so

As far as your posts.. again saying we don't have a chance.. Last time i remember we gave you a GREAT fight.. We put up a better fight and the game was closer when we played new england then the first 2 cowboy games (in the end we WON the game that counted) and the a better fight then the first green bay game (which we WON the game that counted again).

Not guaranteeing a win here by any means, but i think the giants will give the pats one hell of a game. Depending on which giant team shows, it could go down to the end. I think you don't give them enough credit, or you will give credit, then change your tune..

They are not playing the last game over again. Its 110% different. Just wait and see. As far as my posts saying they dont have a chance its b/c I gave the giants their props when they deserved it and this threads been quiet over the past week and we are now a few days away from the Superbowl. Play nice time is over, none of this wishy washy stuff, either you think your team will win or you dont, you cant tread lightly with fear of your team getting blown out just so that you save face in the end.

Continuing from my previous comment. Why are you not willing to just say the Giants are going to win this game and thats the end of it? All of the Giants fans in here are walking on egg shells and not just coming out and saying the Giants are going to beat the Patriots, what kind of team support is that

Deep down inside you are all thinking they can win but you dont want to publicly say it here for fear of castration if they get blown out. It wouldnt end my world if the Patriots did lose Im out a few bucks and thats about it and I'll endure the ridicule on here does not really bother me. But you cant sit there and play both sides of the fence and say that your a Giants fan and at the same time not come out and say that the team you support is going to win.

If you dont think the Giants can get it done then just admit it, if you think they can take this game then come out and say it.

"Im not guaranteeing a win but I think it will be a good game"

What the hell is that?

Fine..

deep down yes.. I think the Giants will win.. I have thought it alllll along... I go in trying to tell myself they don't have a shot really thinking that they will win.

I agree that this is 110% a different game. But the Giants HAVE the talent to BEAT the pats. Even though they were 18-0 (which is just sick) it has NOT been an easy road for them. They have had to endure some late game comebacks just to be 18-0. I think they are most deifnatly beatable. It really comes down to how much the superbowl is going to the giants heads. If they are in awe, they will get blown the EF out because brady has been here done that with his team before. But all the past superbowls the pats have played in has gone right down to the wire just as i hope this game does.

I think the Giants will pull it out, they have been underdogs and are underrated. don't care what anyone says about eli, i think he will show up. He's here for business just as the whole team is.

Giants win

Its funny, i watched media day here at work yesterday..

they even said once the pats left and the g-men came on the field alot of people left. Proving nobody gives a chit the g-men are there, saying it will be a clean sweep like the giants are the colorado rockies. We'll see...

Funny that you can pre-order the 19-0 season book, OH and i heard today that the mayor of boston or something already set up the victory parade.. I would love to derail all of that..

Thats understandable b/c of all the victory parades they have had with the Patriots and the Red Sox over the past few years. its a huge under taking and these things get bigger and bigger. Nothing wrong with putting it in the planning stages when taking on such a big event.

Eli played 3 good games (when he needed to) but I think this is to big of a step to soon. If he comes out and beats the Patriots then they will put him in the lime light with his brother. If he chokes and the Giants go down b/c of poor offensive performance then everyone will say " I told you so" regarding him and no one will care that he made it there, only that he lost. Brady has been there, knows how to handle the pressure and will deliver as expected to. I just dont see Eli having the same game he has over the playoffs.

When the Giants and Pats played in week 17, the Pats had 2 starters on the O-line out to rest and their defense was playing terrible... look what they did the next two games. The Chargers and Colts are the ONLY teams in the NFL that can stand toe-to-toe with the Patriots, nobody else.

The Patriots pulled out close games in previous SuperBowls because they were playing equally talented teams.. but not this time. G-men are going to get the same result they did the last time they were in the SB.

Plaxico is saying 23-17, Giants?... That's retarded... Patriots only putting up 17 points is laughable. Strahan is saying he hopes to be back next year to defend his title... what title?

Patriots may put up 40 points on them this time and should be looking like the team we saw earlier this season in good weather.. the Giants... 17 points, at most.

So the Giants fans want to rip the Mayor of Boston for planning the parade early and for somene putting out a 19-0 book already but its ok for Strahan to say he hopes to be back next year to defend his title? He hasnt won anything yet and why is it "HIS" title, what about the rest of the team? Gap toothed idiot.

Patriots only getting 17? How aout the Giants being lucky to get 17 points. Score will be something like this.

38-14 Patriots

Regardless of what the score comes out to be Patriots take it and cover the 12 points.

I just think its to big of a game for Eli to have on his shoulders and win. Not only do I think he cant win a super bowl at this point, I highly doubt he will have much success against this Patriots team. To many experience veterans, to much talent on both sides of the ball. I heard Rodney Harrison saying that no QB likes pressure regardless of being in the NFL 3 yrs or 10. So there's a little hint of what to expect for Eli

Here's to high hopes of Rodney Harrison flooring Eli Manning

Personally,I think the the thought of 18-0 has some people not giving New York any credit. I can see that but everyone knows the Super Bowl is different. Everything from the media attention, the extra week off, to the extended half time. Things happen. I know I am gonna get ripped for this but I feel New York is playing better football right now. Throw out records from regular season and look at it like this. Just in the playoffs The Pats played a team that didn't show up in Jacksonville, then played a beat up team and didn't impresivly beat the Chargers even though Tomlinson didn't play, Rivers has a torn ACL and had surgery that monday and Gates was hurt. But this is where the week off helps NE. Because the Giants were red hot. Let's see if they can keep it up.

As far as Buress saying 23-17 he was not serious. A reporter asked him what he thought about the game and he just said 23-17 and laughed. I thought it was a great answer. He didn't even give a team. Not bulliton board material in the least bit. HE WASN'T SERIOUS. But the book 19-0 is bulliten board stuff. Not the Pats fault on that. Strahan saying HIS title. . .do you think he doesn't think his team can win??

Why is that when a Giants fan says something good about their team they get slammed cause they are not 18-0? I mean they are looking at it in a reaistic way saying ,"Yeah, my team tried hard and came up short. Only makes sense that this one could be close." I agree. I thik it will be closer than some people think and then there will be a meaningless score somewhere near then end.

But don't beat up on the G-men fans for looking at things for what they are. OR for them thinking their team can win. I mean no one on here plays in the NFL so you don't have to talk SMACK if you don't want to. Not everyone has to bow down to NE.

Our gap-tooth is a great guy. He's just screwing with the media like he always does. They ask dumb questions, he gives them something to write about.

And you ask why us Giant fans don't go out and just predict a win? Hell Red, that's easy to do but not very realistic.

This is David vs. Goliath. The 2007 Pats are clearly one of the best teams the NFL has ever produced. The 2007 Giants? ALmost every pundant had them finishing last with a 5-6 ein season. Knowing the team as well as I do, I predicted a 10 win season (was dead on) and maybe 1 playoff win this year prior to the season starting.

So, to predict a win for the Giants would be .... "pulling a Redline." Or, talking out one's ass to be blunt.

I am rooting for an upset on Sunday. I am rooting for my team to lay a major league ass-whipping on the Giants old assistant coach (Belichick) and his team. What? You didn't know that Belichick was trained in the Giants organization in the 1980's?

The Giants stayed reasonably healthy this year and really pulled their stuff together when it counted. Gilbride and Coughlin changed the offense a bit to give a young QB a better chance to make things happen out there. The Giants are no powerhouse. They are a wonderful blue-collar team that is trying as hard as they possibly can with the players and coaching staff they have to play another great game against perhaps the best team of all time!

Go GIANTS!

God bless America!

He probably won't. BUT. . .Different era's dictate on what team does well. The Pack of the sixties played like the Colts of the sixties. The 70's the Steelers had more success than anyone but the Raiders and Cowboys were close. In the 80's the 49ers and Giants had success and the Cowboys had the early part of the ninties and the Rams had the latter part. It's the Pats turn but the team is aging in some areas so its wide open on who is next. Its exciting cause it could be teh Giants, the Steelers, Jax, Dallas, or a team that is average right now. So to say that Eli won't is a little early to tell. Who woulda thought Brady would be mentioned with Montana?

That is pretty funny tho... He did kinda, uhh.. suck in Cleveland. I did know that Belichick worked with Coughlin in NY, under Parcells.. and I do find it very interesting that it's Coughlin vs Belichick against each other in the big show.

So first you say its not realstic to predict a win, and now your rooting for the upset? Which one is it?

Im well aware at where Belichicks roots lie, yet what does that matter? Does that some how make the Giants better b/c he used to work for them? That was so long ago whats the point and what factor does it even have in this game? None.
