I am surprised but they do look much improved. It would be good for green bay if farve retires after a good season.

BTW check this out. looks like Eric "the bull" manginia should not throw stones... take a look at this link, and remember that it is illegal to tape from the sidelines. Sure it would be hard to prove what those cameras were aimed at but makes you think about how widespread this stuff was.

Is the NFL like the feds where if you rat somebody bigger out you get a pass on your own crimes?

They think everyone is telling them their team is only good because they are cheaters. No, they are good because they are good. They're still cheaters.

If a race car driver is by far the best in the world and has been dominating for years, decides to do something to the car that isn't allowed to gain a SMALL edge, does that mean he isn't awesome? NO! Does that make him a cheater? YES!

Winning will not restore their reputation. They will be known for being cheaters. Whether you think it will or not, it will be remembered. I never was a Pats fan, but I had a lot of respect for them and their talent level. I no longer respect them at all, but they are still talented.

You continue to make the dumbest statements from week to week, keep it up This team has more heart then anyone out there. You want to see a team with no heart? Look at the saints and the Bengals, Teams with talent that get blown out on a regular basis. Teams with players that only think for themselves and about the team. There is no "I" in the patriots team, its all about just the team. That's what bilichick has pounded into every player on that team. How often do you hear about Brady's work ethic as far as the game? How much he prepares, how much he studies each team he faces week to week. Do you think he does that b/c he has no heart or desire to win? Do you see how Brady/Manning can manage a team and move it down a field like the are the commander of an Army and throw 7 points on the board when its needed. These are players with heart and desire. Your comments about the Patriots are your own, but saying the Patriots have no heart or desire to win takes the cake over your last stupid statement which seems to be eclipsed from week to week.

Dale Earnhardt got caught cheating this year, Jimmy Johnson got caught, Jeff Gordan all got caught this past/current season. Maybe not so much as cheating but rule infractions that cost them points or crew chief suspensions. My point is the topic of them always cheating and their success has never been in question b/c of being caught for a rule infractions. I go back to my previous statement when this whole video taping thing broke. By everyone's comments that the patriots are just cheaters and can only win b/c they are cheaters then in all rights they should not be able to dominate and beat top quality teams when the focus is on them and they cant cheat....yet look at what happened in last nights game? Please explain how they are cheaters...yet they are the most dominate team in the NFL? What did the do last night that gave them the unfair competitive advantage over the chargers b/c statement after statement you call them cheaters. For one game they broke the rules, they paid the price for it, they blew out the Chargers fair and square. I consider your comments nothing more then that of a patriots hater.

I'll be more then happy to take your money this playoff season since you think they have no heart and will be knocked out in the playoffs. Baring any major injury who is going to stop them? The steelers are playing well but are not the same team during their Superbowl run, the chargers showed that they don't quite have it together, the only team left is Indy for them to prove anything to. I believe indys up coming losses will be enough to prove that they are not the best team in the NFL. Indy wont make it to 4-0.

This goes far beyond just taping from the sidelines, it has blown up to this level for several reasons:

1 - The league specifically warned against this exact act during the pre-season after allegations of the Pats doing this last year. Yet week 1 they cheat again.

2 - There are also allegations of defensive lineman being miked up to record offesnsive calls and audibles. This is a clear violations of rules.

3 - There are many instances including a playoff game against Jacksonville where there was radio interferance with visitor headsets at Gillette. Its so bad some visiting teams bring cable to run from the press booth to the sidelines. I mean the NFL had people there last night monitoring the frequencies.

The Patriots imo are just like Barry Bonds. Bonds was arguably a top 5 player of all time before roids, and the pats are great team without cheating. But with that being said there had to be an advantage gained by doing these things or the Pats would not risk getting caught.

Sure other teams try to get the coaches signals and learn the audibles throuout the game, but other teams havent been caught taping them or recording them. It just takes it to a whole nothter level.

I would be absolutely shocked if these allegations came out against Tony Dungy a guy who has integrity and is a truly good guy, but I was not suprised when I heard it was Bill Belicheat. I am sure I am not the only one who shares that opionon either.

BTW who says the Pats are the most dominate team in the NFL, there are alot of teams that are 2-0. I am not saying they arent, but there are alot of good teams in the AFC that can beat them on any given night.

Id like to see it happen, it hasnt happened yet. As far as your comments on Dungy VS Belichick all I have to say is this. There is not one NFL head coach who has not or who is currently not doing something as far as trying to bend the rules to try and get an advantage over another team. Even if its just as minor as someone with binoculars looking to gather information on signals. The way some of you here and in some aspects of the media they are trying to spin it as belichick is a cheater and its all hes ever done, while every other coach in the NFL is squeeky clean. Thats just not the case. If you video tape the signals and have the info, or get the info by use of binoclulars whats the difference? Im not saying what they did is right b/c its not, what Im saying is what they did is on a different level from the norm, but its still the same outcome. Plus teams change signals at half time so anything you gather in the 1st half is meaningless in the second half.

I love how the chargers were so protective of any team info getting out VS New England last night as was reported before the game last night. And then they still get stomped, just goes to show they were beat by a better team.

As far as the other claims of what the patriots have done or did do its nothing but claims and rumors at this point. I just see the Jets as being a jaded team.

Bengals

What.....did the defense take the day off? Oh, they kept saying maybe they were tired from playing Monday night! What.....you're a professional athlete and a 6 day break wasn't enough!?!?

WTF.....one game our defense rocks and offense didn't produce. The next, our offense rocks and def didn't produce. Do they only have one set of jock straps or something and share them every other game?

Someone answer me this. Dude on the Browns, forget his name already, but had two very long punt returns. Then he was all out of breath and getting oxygen. Am a mistaken in thinking these are supposed to be very fit and healthy professional athletes, but can run full speed for 300 feet without acting like they're going to die? ****, I can run full speed for 300 feet and act like I"m giong to die, pay me $1 mill a year.

The Bengals are a very inconsistent team on offense and defense, that is there down fall and will be their down fall this season. You never know which team will show up. I'll take it easy on you when the Patriots pound them on monday night in 2 weeks.

As far as that guy being out of breath I didnt see the play. Yes they are all good athletes but running with all that gear on can take a lot of of you, especially when there are a bunch of guys who are gunning to knock your lights out.

Maybe both sides of the team will show up for the game and we'll have a good shot. If not, it won't be much of a game. If so, should be a pretty good match-up!

I still seem to expect more out of someone who's sole responsibility for their career is to run with that gear on.....and trains for it every day of the week.

and

I always enjoy watching the Pats play. Such a solid and steady team. I enjoy the Colts too....but they're a little more sporadic. Both seem to be able to get the job done. Wish my Bengals could utilize all their talent to their fullest potential. By the time they get all their kinks worked out, their team will begin to fall apart as is the cycle in NFL.

Its the NFL any good team can beat any other good team on any given night. The Pats arent going to go 16-0. Theya re good, but its been 2 games, a little early to start talking about domination dont ya think.

I guess we will agree to disagree, but I would be very suprised if Dungy was doing what the pats do. Interfering with radios, filming coaches, and miking lineman.

I will give you that most teams will watch coaches to see if they can pick something up, which imo is alot different than videotaping it to look at anytime you want to. Besides answer me one question, if it really wouldnt help much more than just watching, why where they taking the risks to tape?

Honestly the Chargers this year have sucked on offense. Lets give the patriots a few more weeks to annoint them champs this year. I am certainly not saying they dont look awesome, because they do, but the 2nd out of 17 weeks is a bit early to start making the rings.

Btw its not just claims, the league has proof and its not just the jets, as I said in my previous posts many teams have made complaints about losing signal in headsets. Including Jacksonville in the playoffs. The Jets may be jaded, but its not just them making allegations.

I should edit your post to be a little more accurate..

Entire NFL are CHEATERS!

I really fail to see how this is such a big deal? I did not even think it was that big of a deal last year when the dolphins miced there o line and stole bradys play calls. LOL it's part of the game if you figure out the calls Sure it's illegal to mic linemen and illegal to videotape from the sidelines. But stealing signs is part of the game.

You dont see it as a big deal because its your team who did it. That would be the same as people finding out the Yankees mandate that all hitters take steroids. Its the best team over the last 10 years blatantly cheating beyond what any other team does to get an advantage.

If you cant understand that miking lineman, messing with radio frequenceies (which no patriot fan has addressed the 2previous times I brought it up) and videotaping is diffent than just having the backup QB and punter looking at the coaches during the game, then there is no helping you understand.

Btw I have never heard the story about Miami miking anyone, post a link or article about Miami doing this to the Patriots.

Can we any longer?

Evaluate the Patriots from this point on, any of the doubters. If the Patriots were not true Champions they they would not be able to perform well from this week on. If they perform up to their expectations then its just proof they earned everything they did on their own merits. If they went 8-8 this year then I would believe they cheated all along, If the go to another AFC Championship and Superbowl then its apparent they did it on their own before as well. Considering now that all eyes are on them so even if they wanted to cheat they cant.
