I don't see as a big deal because everybody is bending the rules some a little and some a lot and I really don't see the need to single out one team when it's a epidemic. It's pretty much become part to the chess match that is the game.

Same thing with bonds who somebody compared this pats thing too. Sure it's wrong that he took steroids, but it's also wrong to only single him out when 80-90 percent of baseball players are doing it. In fact some major leaguers that played back in the 1960's and 70's claim that a high percentage of players juiced back then!!!!!!! So maybe even aaron did some roids..... We will never know.

So really in the end If roger clemens who si loaded on roids is pitching to bonds who is loaded on roids does it matter??? They are both cheating so it evens out. That is my whole point in this argument. ( BTW JD drew needs to sue his dealer because his roids or hgh or both are not working He needs to go find out where David Ortiz or A-rod get theres. LOL)

See I differ from you in this not just because it's the pats but because I firmly believe that cheating has become a major part of pro sports and that such a high percentage is cheating in some way that it almost evens out. I really wish we could get rid of the cheating but it will not happen EVER because there is just way to much money involved.

Do a internet search you will find stuff about the miami mic stuff. . It was not reported all that well because the Phins suck so who cares if a non playoff team "cheat" to beat a dynasty team that is hated in most areas of the country, it's just not the nice neat news story this cameragate thing is.

BTW how about the cameramen on the jets sidelines that the media is avoiding like a minefeild. I posted the pics in a link earlier in this topic.



Honestly I was a little shocked how this thing was handled. Everything out in the open, I would have thought they would have came to a conclusion and then told us what that was.... It's almost like Goodell wants to keep this in the front pages as long as possible.. why is goodell telling the media everything that is going on?

Why not just request the material he wants without telling the media??? Stuff like this is really starting to make this look like a witch hunt.

BTW I love how Kraft picked right now to extend Belichick until 2013!!!!! What a NICE FU that was! Want to make a bet that a 500k "bonus" was in that deal..

I did not hear that but it's true, we are very lucky to have a team that has won 3 superbowls this decade and is still among the top three teams . The last great dynasty ( dallas in the early 90's) was already well into decline 7 years after they won the first one, Belichick has been able to fit new parts in with the core group and keep this team competitive for a SB. sure they dropped off in 2005 and also in 2002 but other then that they have been a elite team.

Are you surprised Brady is cocky? He is a NFL quarterback, you need to be cocky to do that job. A self doubter would not have made it to the NFL no matter what he has for physical tools. All these guys are cocky... You need to be cocky to be a great athlete

Not many NFL cities have been lucky enough to have a multiple SB winner let alone three in four years. Plus in 2004 we had three major sport championships in a little over a year. So yeah we have been lucky.

i agree just about all nfl players are cocky they must be because the media and everyone else in america talks about them like there trash everytime something bad happens but never talks about them in a good way. if they didnt build thereself up and have convidence in thereself who would?

No, all players are not cocky. A lot are, maybe 70-85%. They need to be confident to be in the NFL not cocky. He wasn't even being cocky. He was arrogant.

Saying they're all like that is completely off base, thats like saying when Joey Porter opens his fat mouth you defend and say "they're all cocky ". There is a huge difference between confidence and cockiness. If Manning would have said those same things Brady did you Pats fans would be all over it.

The thing you don't get is they aren't all cheating. Using binoculars and a camera are two way different things. That is why one is against the rules and one isn't.

Every team MAY break the rules, but every team hasnt been caught red handed the first game of the season after the commissioner specifically directed towards the Pats said DO NOT TAPE OPPOSING TEAMS, yet they do it week 1. How can you blinded by loyalty crazy people not see how this is a big deal. Thats like being told not to pee in public by a cop then doing it on his feet.

Btw I like how no one has still addressed my points about the Patriots causing radio interferance which imo is much worse than taping. That is a direct and clear advantage if the opposing team cannot communicate with the booth, coach, and QB.

But back to the point about if the Patriots do well this year all should be forgiven, well I have news for you that wont happen. Wrong or right, like it or not, the Patriot regime has been tainted. I personally dont think that this means they wouldnt have won the championships, but if they are and were so good then why did they go above and beyond what anyone else does.


Like the guy above said, having coaches and bench players spying with binoculars is different than taping, miking, and causing radio issues. If you cant see that there is no reasoning with the unreasonable.

How about how the rat himself was caught by the ravens this week messing with the ravens audibles???? That caused multiple false starts for the ravens. That is not legal BTW Eric "the bull" manginia better hope he turns his team around, he might be blacklisted after this stunt he pulled. Not many owners or head coaches like to keep rats around because it gets ugly when you fire them.

I will tell you this mangini needs to keep his nose clean now, a lot of other coaches are going to be gunning for him now.. I did not hear billick press conference but supposedly he mentioned how manginia was cheating and how he faults himself for not picking it up sooner. MMM I love thinly disguised rat accusations

How about how both the broncos and 49ers were caught cheating with the cap numbers and had draft picks taken away.. In the broncos case this was done durring the superbowl years and the player they fudged to get under the cap was John Elway.. What is more valuable John Elway or some scouting info on maniginis staff and maybe if the stars lined up right a few plays you might have the calls for.


I can keep going all day with examples on this. The facts of the matter is this is more about Belichick pissing in goodell's corn flakes then about football. That has become clearer and clearer everyday.


You people just want to pretend that Belichick is the only guy out there on the edge and all the other coaches are good little scouts, while that might make you feel better about how inadequate your team is it is not based on reality.


If you grandstanders got off your morale high horse for a second and did some research you will see that I am right.

BTW as a side note I am helping a friend make a 6 foot tall rat to mount on top of a platform in a pickup bed for a friend of mine.. He is a season ticket holder and wants this for the tailgating before the pats-jets game.
