While it is true that Manning has always had a better recieving core, but Brady has had a 100X better defense, arguably the best coach ever and without question the best coach in the league right now, they have always had great special teams play.

Manning can only control so much, he was scoring 40 points a game most of his career because his D would give up 35.

The Patiots have had the best overall team, but imo Manning is a better QB. Sure Brady has more rings, but both careers arent over and Brady has had better overall teams, better coaching, etc. Brady can think Bilicheat for those rings because they would have won them if they had nearly any other QB back there, well except for Grossman.

I mean we could go deeper into the whole deal but Viniatieri imo was the MVP of those teams. Without his clutch foot they wouldnt have won them.

I think you are seriously underestimating brady.. I think him and manning are just about equal, manning has a little better of a arm and brady is a little bit quicker picking apart a defense. but they are 1 and 1a as far as I am concered. You could switch both of them and notice no drop off on either team.

Anybody who watched this team before and after brady and saw the instant change when he steped into the starting job knows how good this guy is. In fact if we did not luck out and draft him ( a 6th round pick is luck in my opinion) we would not have won a single superbowl. It was a day and night difference comapred to bledsoe who was a average to slightly better than average qb.

Remember this was the same defense and same core group that bledsoe failed with. The same O-line that was thought to be awfull all of a sudden was good. That is not just coaching that is because Brady is heads and shoulders better than bledsoe was. It is the difference between a sure HOF QB and a average one.

I can't believe that all these years latter and one of the best qb ratings of all time with below average weapons that some people still think that the pats would have done anything without brady.

Sure they could have won without him, if they had peyton manning or montana in his prime, but very few QB's would have done what Brady did with that offense.

Brady had third teir receiving options for almost all of his carear except for this season. Hell the best wideout he had before was branch who in my opinion is not a top 10 WR maybe not even top 15..

Now that brady has weapons that are equal to mannings or atleast close you can get a better Idea of how good brady is.

BTW I put it the other way around. The magic hoodie may have never became great if he did not draft Brady. Take a look at Belichicks coaching record before brady comapred to after.

+1 along with the rest of the post. They won the superbowl that year, never would have happened with dubsoe.

Whos going to watch the dismantling of the saints by the Titans?

Looked like it was going to be ugly at first. At least it is a close one so far.

I'm at work so I'm popping back and forth between our break room and our operations office.

Actually the offensive line sucks...and no pressure on the QB form the defense.

It's going to be a long season.

Guaranteed win and N.O Saints should never be in the same sentence.

Ive got 2 more words for you for why they suck

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!!!!!!!

The whole team sucks. Sure blame it on Drew throwing 4 INT's or the fact that the over hyped bush has not run for crap in over 3 games. Has he even gotten 100 yards total this year? They are by no means a team that will be good and constistant year in and year out.

They lost for the very same reason I have said all along. AFC VS NFC, AFC will win 9 times out of 10. Just goes to show you that quality of player difference in the confrences. Saints were the #2 team last year, Titans got knocked out of the play offs but far from being the #2 team yet they trounce the #2 NFC team.

That saints suck its plain and simple. Its just a matter of where they fall in the over stacked suck teams in the NFC. Saints will barley or wont even go .500 this year. I said it before, I said it again wait and see. They got lucky last season thats all there was to it.

so sad

well, guess the Aints are going to do as they always do. 4 or 5 bad seasons, new coach, awesome season, then 4 or 5 bad ones

oh well, I'm still a fan, I still support, I still believe. No bandwagon for me

Bengals

Funny thing is, that both of the last 2 games have been great football to watch. Very close nerve racking games. My buddy and I about had heart attacks. Our defense showed up for this last game....and most of our offense. But Carson Palmer decided to slack off a bit I guess. Normally his arm is very accurate....but Sunday he threw several passes that were too far....too short....too something. Chad dropped a couple of easy catches too.

I get a little spoiled having a very capable QB and two very capable WR's.....you just expect that if they're somewhat open, the ball will get to them and they will catch it, pretty much all the time. Not this past game, and that's why they lost! Bastards!

Still luv ya tho Bengals!

Bengals vs. Pats.....not looking good.

The Bengals are fine. They are 1-2! Which isn't too bad considering they are only competing for the Wildcard anyway Steelers = AFC North Champion

****.....I was hoping we'd whoop up on the Steelers this year. Now we're 4th of 4 in the conference. Pathetic considering we typically lead it or fight with the Steelers for it.

Ok what team is the biggest disapointment so far this year

The 0-3 Saints or the 1-2 Chargers.

I am going to go with this guys team

View attachment 360779

The chargers were supposed to be the team to beat and all we heard about was how great they are, and how LT is the classest star of all time ( LOL yeah ok) Now it's the big two ( indy and new england) BTW for a fun read go check out the chargers forums and read all the smack they were talking over there.
