That is the most retarted thing ever. In his entire career how could you say he NEVER egged his players as they came out on the field to practice before the start of a game? were you there for all the starts to all his games? NO you weren't. YOU DO NOT KNOW if he had that chemistry at one point or another with any of his past teams. He could have had the same thing with both other pro teams he played for. Because you went to ONE game and saw that means nothing. period.

One more game then you have been in which you saw him play in and interact with the other players therefore it makes me more qualified to speak about it then you are.

He played with Chris Carter who kept his whiney ass in line. Trust me. the guy quits when it gets rough. When Minnesota was good, he was fine. When things went south, he quit. Was traded to Oakland, and never cared. Thats selfish. Instead of being the building block, he said publicly he doesn't try all the time. I hope he never does go that way cause he is a great talent. best PUSH OFF reciever since Mike Irvan

Best push off receiver, every receiver in the NFL gets away with them just as often as defenders dont get called for pass interference.

So your basing the fact that he quits when it gets rough just on whats been reported on him in the past correct? Not that you have some vast inside knowledge on the whole situation and not that your basing what you say on anything more thats whats been reported? He was expected to play a role that he didnt want in Oakland, he was expected to be the leadership, voice for the team, since in NE I have not seen one post game or pre game interview with him, he just wants to keep to himself and do what he is required to do for the team, and thats catch balls and score TD's and hes doing an excellent job of that this season.

You are looking way too far into this. Its not whats "just reported". You can see it. I HEARD HIM SAY IT IN A RADIO INTERVEIW THAT HE DOESN"T TRY EVERY PLAY. Jim Rome, JT the Brick and other show hosts played this when he was in Oakland. They Slammed him for it. And yes, if yu are getting paid the money to be the team leader and thats what he claimed he wanted when he went to Oakland, then you should do it!

and yes, PUSH OFF. I know all do it here and there but some more than others. As I said, I like watching him play. He is an incredible talent. But can quit when he's not happy. If NE would say loose three games in a row. . .watch him. I'mnot saying they will but I bet he would change his act

I bet he wouldn't change his act, you would have the same attitude as well if you were playing for a team like Oakland. Everyone said the same thing about Cory Dillon, when it comes down to it these players that have been cast off as problem players just want to win games, its pretty simple. Moss has probably won more games in 8 weeks with the Patriots then he had his career in Oakland.

I dont know, you havent played Tennesee. If its Washington you are refering to, they are 12th by yards and 16th by points.

before the patriots played them washington was the 5th ranked defense ( yards). now they dropped to 12th after the pats destroyed them

You can not punish a team for causing the other teams rankings to drop, you have to give them credit for destroying the fifth ranked defense because thats what washington was at the start of the game.

nice try

He wanted to go there. (Oakland) And Minnasota was a really good team. But he pouted anyways. His past speaks for itself.

Thats what I was getting at, hes looking at the stats now after Washington got malled for 4 quarters of football. They played undefeated Dallas...killed them, they Played the 5th ranked defense...destroyed and put up 52 points on them......yet they have ceased to play anyone that's "good". Guess they can shut a lot of people up after today's game.

Ok lets just agree to disagree on this topic were just going in circles you cant convince me Moss is still the same ol Moss and I cant change your mind either.

Much more bigger things are on the plate for discussion today

Sammy Morris out of the year.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d803d6633&template=without-video&confirm=true

Interesting.

The NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that former Patriots running back Corey Dillon, who became a free agent after last season but didn't sign with another team, is receptive to returning to the Patriots this season, should they be interested. Dillon has resumed training.

Im not to sure they would really need Cory Dillon but it would be nice to have a third and short and goal line RB. Maroney is built more for speed and allusiveness not huge power even though he's got an insane stiff arm. I think Falk/Maroney are a good combo, but an addition of Dillon for those short and third and goal line situations would be nice.

seems like a lot of so-called "expert" picks have the colts winning

I like this pick the best:
Len Pasquarelli
Pasquarelli Prediction
Patriots 41, Colts 41
There hasn't been a tie game in the NFL since Nov. 10, 2002, when Pittsburgh and Atlanta played to a 34-34 stalemate. So the league is certainly overdue for one. Both offenses will go up and down the field for four quarters before the defenses figure things out in the extra stanza. And then the Colts and Patriots can do this all over again in the AFC Championship Game, with even more hype, if possible, than this time.

You mean exactly what happend when the Colts dropped 33 on Tampa, 28 on Jacksonville, and 31 on Carolina all of which were stout defenses who dropped tremendously.

Oh yeah and all that was without its 2nd best offensive player.

The only minnasota team I would call really good was the 1998 team and they choked... There was no other vikes team that came even close to challenging for a superbowl appearance. Moss knew that Minnesota was a dead end for winning. He still should have not acted the way he did but I could care less what happened there, he rocks here and thats all I care about.

Well about 5 hours now until game time

The key factors regarding todays big game.

1. I can pick better picks then the experts

2. Ugoh is not 100% and that could lead to pressure on Manning

3. Marvin H is not 100% and if he plays at all will most likely play a limited role, his replacement gonzalez has 0 NFL TD catches (rookie VS Patriots Defense).

Patriots are with out Eugene Wilson but Ben Watson is expected to play.

Oh there he is, are you going to be here for the game or make up an excuse that you have to be somewhere else while the whole time actually sitting in the corner in the fetal position sucking on your thumb while watching Tom drive the Offense down the field and light up the score board
