The Old A/C Blowing from the Window Vents

That's a hard line. I'm sure there is crack somewhere. That's the only line which opens the door.
Well when it happened a couple of years ago, Roger walked me through it, and I found the crack behind the intake, right where it the two hoses connected to a plastic tee. There is a lot of MSD wires around the driver's side now, so it's hard to view the whole line...

Ill go back and try again later.
Thanks

I ran a new vacuum line to stop this problem. That plastic is just too brittle. Try that. If it doesn't fix it, then the line is cracked after it goes through the firewall, or the vent door is stuck.

What's the best way to fix "THOSE" problems?

If the break is behind the firewall, then it will be a pita to get to. Likely necessitating removal of part of the dash just to get access. I haven't had the pleasure of taking apart the dash yet so i am of no use for that particular scenario.

Turns out that the break was just after the booster, where the thick part that connects the hose tapers into the small hose itself. The part was concealed by the MSD BOX. Just put a piece of duct tape to test, and it works.

good stuff rob.....if the break was behind the firewall, it would have been a royal PITA.
