...ME EITHER, god i hope everything turns out ok

i know its going to be a lot of work.
and im hopfully going to patch up all this new rust ive found. maybe even pull the engine and get a complete full paintjob..
car came with a cheapo paintjob with no clear on it. looked great when i got it. but faded fast and is wearin thin.

heres a crappy mock up of the new piece. and a comparison of the old/new

wow, youre very observant.

the ponies came on the car.
then i swapped 4 lug cobras onto the coupe. (why 4 lug i dont know. shoot me)

my hatchback came with the pro stars you see on the coupe now..
the pro stars always had serious rubbing issues when id drive the hatch and hit anything, or even take a sharp turn it would rub. god forbid if i had a passenger.
so after the coupe bit the dust, i swapped the prostars and the cobras

rubbing issues disapeared
not sure if the pro stars were the wrong offset, or the idiot previous owner just bought the wrong tires.

dderek, is that the red lx you were considering gettin rid of after the hood flew up? if so, glad to see you kept it! Thank you, THANK YOU for fixing that notch and not just stripping it and dumping the body!

that is the one, and thats why the hood is still white

havent had the cowl panel straightened out yet, or bothered to get the hood painted.

im happy i kept it though. and hopefully ill be happy im putting all this effort in my coupe
