The other half worked Friday and had a wedding to go to Sat. That left me with alot of time on my hands. So I started a project I never intended to do. A while back I picked up a 90 lx that looked rough but runs and drives like new. I started taking it apart thursday after work and went to the storage unit and picked up a clean hatch. Dug through the garage and got a rear bumper, fender and wing. I had a three day weekend to do as much damage as possable. I think I did pretty good. I wasn't building a show car so I didnt over do it. The car will spend most of it's time outside and will be driven hard. I still haft to put on the DS fender and swap the hatch and rear bumper but that will wait till next weekend. It will get a wet sand and buff as well. But for now this is what I did in a weekend. I sprayed it at 2pm Sunday.
Started with this:

went to this Saturday:

Got to here Sunday:

Not bad for a weekend, but believe me... It was A LOOOONNNNGGG weekend!

I'm not a name caller but I too love those wheels, what are you doing with them, I say polish them and put them on that clean piece of metal.

Um.... NO!!!! No Krylon, Dutch boy, Dupli color or even the ever popular Rustoleum. No brushes or rollers where used. I have an air compressor and a HVLP spray gun. I grew up in a body shop. Picked up a thing or two along the way.
