Well i picked up on a great deal i got a 4.30 posi rearend drum to drum. I know what you must be thinking.....to much gear. Well i am going to run a 5 speed and i know if i run a tall tire, i will displace the gear ratio a bit. My plan exactly..
I am going to run 28 x 10 ET Streets on a set of 15" Draglites. That will give me a lot of sidewall for traction, and not cost me top end with the gears.
I am new to fox body's, so drop your two cents in the bucket would ya?

Oh, and will i need to mod (bang the s**t out of ) the wheel wells to fit such a large tire? I know there are other posts on this subject, but no one is running a 4.30 gear.

Thanks! :flag:

Maybe to fit those tires you shuld get the adjustable lower control arms so you can adjust the ride height. Do some measurements from the center of the hub to see what "adjustments" need to be made. I am sure others have run that tire setup. Find out what spacing they used on the wheels.
