The T Top 4eye I Didn't Want But I Had To

The front soft lines were missing and the master cylinder was destroyed. I think I am going to try the set up with the stock booster and a 93 Cobra master. I prefer a slightly firmer brake pedal anyhow and the idea of not bashing the inner fender for the booster makes me happy.

I am trying to gat a list together so I can start getting the missing parts.

1. 93 Cobra M/C
2. front soft lines for PBR calipers
3. E brake cables
4. weatherhead conversion fitting
5. manual prop valve


I need to research the 3-2 conversion ( I think that is a 87+ thing )
and the plug for the stock prop valve.

It's not that bad. Worst part about the booster is under your dash trying to snake the nuts back on the studs with universals and extensions flopping around.

Even the rear disks are no big deal. Honestly, the SN95 disk conversion was one of the fun projects on the car...second to my t5 conversion

Max motorspotts has both.

MMBAK-17 is the adapter line kit for your car $20

They also have the prop valve plug.

For brake lines, just get some cheap parts store 99-04 front lines, and 94-95 rear lines.

Weatherhead 7818 adapters out back and weatherhead 7828 (or Dorman part # 327828) on pass side front.

There's a Dorman equivalent for rear adapters but can't find it at moment

I'm sure with a bit of finageling, you can make anything work, but the 96+ lines were body mounted, while the 94-95 lines mounted to the axle in a more Fox-like manner. It's, in my opinion, a cleaner, more secure install.


Just looking on rockauto.com...they have rear lines for under $10 each.
