The typical SRT-4 owner lol.

At first, I kinda' admired the SRT-4 guys because at least they steered clear of the import "illness", but these guys all think they're driving 12 second cars. I had one that came up next to me on the interstate a couple weeks ago and kept letting out of the throttle so I could hear his blow off valve. I downshifted into fourth and drove off and left him. He caught me at a light about five minutes later and asks me whats up with mine. I looked at him and said, "You were racing back there?" His g/f just keeled over laughing . . . then I told him it was all stock save a cold air intake . . . LOL

I've only met a few cool SRT-4 guys. One of which I had seen 3 times prior in the same day, pulled up next to me, and we chatted at the light, real cool cat. Next at IRP (now ORP, O'Reily Racing Park) one guy who was real modest and didn't gloat and wasn't a ricer.

Other than that, most of them rev at me, or worse, burnout at stop lights.

And that video...I mean holy crap...I want to strangle that guy. lol

I thought the mud bogging part was pretty damn funny, lol.

I actually was talking with a guy that has a pretty sick SRT-4 today. I heard he has the stage-II kit on it. Nice car... fast too.

Actually in person SRT-4 owners are cooler than mustang owners around here...pretty cool peeps IMO. But this is what they do in their spare time I guess LOL.

:( I kinda gotta agree there... Cobra owners usually are pretty cool to me, and Mach 1 guys, but other GT's are often jerks and do ricer flybys. Nicest group of guys I've found locally is Focus owners, actually. lol

Most of the car guys around here are cool as hell.

The coolest are the group of guys in our local Mustang Club. Even the Terminator guys arent all high and mighty, lol.

But there are definatly a few that have their heads stuck way up their own asses, gasping for breath...:nonono:

The wife and I have a 05 SRT and they are really nice cars. I would rather have one of those then a Focus.

Most of the owners around here are not ricers, they just drive them like any other car owner.

Hottmustang i guess we have to cut you some slack with the potroast post since you had dial up and never seen these videos :)
we used to do that with our Z24's when we were in high school...front wheel drive and E brake can be fun.

A friend of mine bought a new oldsmobile alero (FWD) . So I told him, "when you leave, stop and pull up the hand break...then just punch it, to do a little burntout".

Well he stops, pulls the break and wails on it. To my surprise it just takes off and starts dragging the rear tires down the road :rlaugh: I seriously couldnt stop laughing  .

Yea im enjoying teh high speed :D

thats how you beat on a FWD car...pull the Ebrake while going around a corner...while still punching it. It will throw the ass end out...

My wife has a SRT4, she loves it but hates the seats (it has leather/cloth Viper seats from the factory). In its stock form its pretty quick, nice Kicker sound system but while it has power windows for the front driver and passenger the passengers in the back have to make do with manual windows:nonono: kindof cheesey IMO.

I used to have a neon a few years ago and as far as I know all neons have manual windows in the back even with power front.

It was a very crappy car and lasted 6 months before I traded it.
