ok as i stated befor i want to buy a supercharger setup for my car and i was showing it to a friend and he was said man for that kinda money u can get a halfway decent cobra motor for that price which brought me to this

i dont know if i am just going crazy but to me that seems like a good deal so far and it has the same mialge as my car. I guess i was wondering if this would be a better setup for me for the money and just add a stock charger for a cobra on there or would i be spending to much money in the long run to get it into my car and get it working and such

any help would be greatly appreciated

Well, who knows what the reserve is on that engine... It could be expensive.

Also, it has 65,000 miles on it already.

I think you should supercharge your 2V you already have a great engine.

If your horsepower goal is greater than 400 you might consider the 4V.

I'm always skeptical of deals on ebay that seem to good to be true, they usually are. I would go with the blower. From what I hear and read there is a lot more to a 4v conversion then just a motor/tranny swap.

I would rather try and find an 03/04 Cobra engine instead of the 01. Ive seen them go on Ebay complete (Oil pan to s/c) for $2,000-$3,000.

If it were me, I'd just add the power to the 2V. Personally, I wouldn't put an ebay motor in my car, I'm just not trusting enough.

I agree, and to add to that this is a 99 cobra motor, not an 01. 99 4v's are notorious for not making advertised power. Ford had to do a recall on them because of this.

i agree i heard about that but i thought it just had to do with the induction nothin was wrong with the rest of the motor??

99-01 cobra engines

s/c 2V

it is a waste of money. they have the same weak internals as your 2V. the 4V wont make much more than 50 HP more than what you have now.

S/C is the wayto go
