so i'm half way up to bham when i notice my amp light on. looking over at my battery it was 2 dashes about flat red, so i must have been driving on it for some time. i pulled off on the bothel exit and popped my hood at some parking lot to give it a quick glance over. this was not what i had anticipated when i left heading up north for an old friends halloween party. so i called him up and let him know my situation. the next thing i had to decide was whether to risk driving home on just the battery another 65 miles or drive up the same distance and worry about it on sunday. reason got the best of me and i drove back home with no radio, air, radar, and cellcharger. by chance on my way home on 512 i passed a 07 saleen gun metal grey with 2 hot blondes in it. of course they wouldn't ever give the rustang the time of day which always makes me feel like a million bucks. 'ol well.... the closer i got home the darker it got. i eventually was forced to turn on my light and those puppies where DIM!!! it was like i was using a tiny flashlight. well as i creep into my driveway the lights flickers and i knew my car was done.... so today i spent the morning in the pullparts looking for a donar 4cy/5.0 but to no avail. ended up forking out $130 on a crapper 75amp alternator only because its my DD and i need it back on the road monday for work. guess the only thing to look forward to is passing candy out in my Cow costume.
