Thermostst housing bypass outlet

In have a new billet-type thermostat housing on a 351W. The project vehicle will not have a heater nor A/C.
On the water pump are two outlet tubes.
Now I am assuming that the water pump outlets will just have a hose connecting one to the other but where does the bypass outlet go to? Never had one with a bypass before.

One nipple on the pump goes to the bypass, the other you can put a cap on it.
