think i boo booed my dash

i must ahve something wrong my dash isnt working properly it takes like almost a minute for things to start working on my dash

i turn the key and the thing under the dash dings and the brake light and ABS light come on but nothing else not even the mileage after a minute or so the rest of the stuff comes on but my mileage is -------- thats what it says
no numbers or anything

i am almost done with my mark 8 swap and now this.......
oh its a 99 mustang that had a V6 in it
i used a 99 gt pcm harness so it would all plug into the car the hardwired a 96 mark 8 PCM connector to it only thing is i have this one wire that i dont know what it is supposed to hook to there are 3 plugs other than the one for the pcm

one is kinda square and grey one is green and the other is rectangle shaped and grey the rectangle grey one i believe is the one that has the wire....its red/pk i dont know what its for i cant seem to find a home for it....it does however carry low voltage

i dont know if this has anything to do with my dash or not
are there any relays that might be bad that can case this problem in the cluster???
