Well, i ordered a regulator mounted fuel pressure gauge the other day, i got it last night installed this morning, along with new vacuum lines etc., and new gaskets upper to lower.......

Anyway, i found the vacuum line to my regulator may have been kinked, and not supplying enough vacuum to the regulator, what would the result of this be, the reason i think it helped is that, no matter how much fuel pressure i have had before, i could never get the car to run, or smell like it is running rich.........I have the pressure to around 44 pounds now, and at idle and a little above it smell like it may be running rich.........I am gonna put some miles on the new plugs, and then take a look at them...........

Maybe this helped me......

is it possible that something this small could've been causing the lean problem, i think i am gonna run some fuel injector cleaner through it as well......Should i run some STP fuel treatment through, or is there something better....

personally (got this from a handful of mechanics i know), i run the tank pretty close to dry, go to kmart or walmart and get super cheap injector cleaner. get about 3-4 of those. put them all in along with about 4-5 gallons of gas. let it run dry. dont try to run her too hard in that time and try to do it within one or two runs. fill her up as normal and your injectors will be as clean as possible

btw, why do you think you are running lean? you dont have too much done to your car and i think 44psi is a bit much. im runnin at 39psi (without an actual wideband test) and i think im pretty good there.

i have quite a bit done to my car now...........i haven't updated my sig in a while, i went to the dyno the other day, at idle or just easing through the gears it was 17:1 and at wot i was at 14.5:1.....there is a thread on it in here somewhere.....with the vid....

I may just do that with the injector cleaner........just a few gallons and a couple bottle of the cheap stuff......
