so with a 133000 on my car that im getting i must ask the question.. i no properly maintained the motors run long past 133 but. do you guys think throwing a set of twisted wedge heads,e303 cam, trickflow intake,70mm throttlebody and possibly a better distributor(dont no which id run yet) will have an issue on reliablitity or do you think i will be just fine.. please post away with opinions or suggestions

dont forget to uprgade to a larger maf or your TB will be useless. will it be ok? do a compression test. if all the cylinders check out fine I think you will be ok. if you have a bad cylinder it sounds like it's time for a rebuild.

Yep. Check compression and oil pressure. If both are ok, you should be good. Why are you changing out the distributor?

What was said so far is just right

I also wonder why the new distr. If yours is sloppy or worn I could see it. Or if you are planning on forced induction but for a N/A motor if the stock one is working and dosent have any slop in it then there is no reason to change unless you just like the looks better of a MSD

the stock dist/coil works just as well if not better than any of the aftermarkte companies.

unless you are running a hot race motor and are blowing the spark out there should be no reason to upgrade unless you want the bling bling

Yeah if you're not going nuts with it, the bottom end should be fine, just check it out to make sure ahead of time.

You are going to step up the most radical change is the Head makes HP not the bore. So, technically you are going to pound the rods with 133K worth of wear on the caps is now cam that up too? Wear out my line bore is the cam is gonna rock in those worn out bearings. How does that cylinder wall look all scored and yes, you leak-down the puppy.

Say you won't see it, but 1 to 2% is race ready or bone stock new. You see 8 to 12% leak is she is dead and tired says, rebuild me.

I would use the same engine that is in it, and if you want to go faster, do not use the brakes that soon... I'm gonna get you in the corner is out brake you is did you have the HP to do what with it? You are going to hammer the pedal and the bottom end is going to sing the blues... Nice try @ 133K worth is even if you kept the oil clean, she is still a worn out puppy is like; install a new dick is your heart is not going to be able to take it, say....

Was that a reply to an above post, or were you quoting some new Rob Zombie song that hasn't yet been released?
